FantasticStayed with partner
This was an excellent choice of hotel. The rooms must be well insulated as there was a party going on in the ballroom but not a sound was heard in the bed room. Brilliant decor, beautiful surroundings, excellent service.

Newly refurbished. Excellent standard of room - mattress, bedding & pillows all good quality. Bathroom was plush and had an actual bath, which can be rare these days in a lot of hotels. Food offering also very good.

Walking in to the hotel was beautiful but it’s so hard to get a parking space , it’s all been redecorated so went up to our room which was room 6 and it’s very dark so we had to put the lights on in the afternoon, lots of clattering and banging going on so went to reception and spoke to them and they said it was the bins getting taken out I just was checking that it wasn’t going to be like that all night , there is a middle door which was being used and it just banged shut , through the night there was a huge argument outside of the side we were at and then at 5 am the door started to get banged shut and didn’t stop from then on I’m not sure if that was the staff coming and going to work but we had a very unsettled night but apart from that the staff are really lovely and food was good so that was such a shame as the banging of that door really spoiled our stay .

Fantastic We stayed at the Brig O’Doon for two nights after our wedding as a little mini moon. The hotel is beautiful - very atmospheric and romantic and we stayed in the signature river view room - the view is the stuff of fairytales. The room was luxurious and we had a great sleep! All the staff were friendly and professional and there were some lovely touches and treats as we had mentioned we were staying post wedding. We ate in Tales restaurant both nights and the food/drinks were lovely and the service excellent. The hotel is in a beautiful part of Ayrshire and we enjoyed the Burns experience and a walk to the coast. Can’t fault a thing, we had a romantic and magical two days away and will be back for our anniversary.
