Enjoyed the excursions to the pearl farm and cave. All the cruises seem to go to the same places.

Food was very good , probably the best I had in Vietnam. Staff is amazing, very friendly and engaging. I will 100% recommend Rosa Boutique Cruise. The only complain I have is about the fact that the water in the Ha Long area is becoming polluted with plastic and trash.

Pleasant overall. Can't really complain about the room or setvice. Perhaps just no Wifi and our room is a little noisy being quite close to the motor. Their Rosa Limousine Bus we took from Hanoi is a little underwhelmed. Big spaces, but the leg rest doesn't work and dirty floor carpet. Bus could definitely be maintained better.

Great if you do the 3 day 2 nights. I think the 2 day 1 night option appeared a bit hectic with little time to relax and fully savour a magical place.

Friendly staff. A lot of activities if you stay for two nights. The meal is good and you will get enough bottled water everyday.

The Rosa Boutique cruise was a small size cruise that provides a comfortable setting to chat with other guests but enough space to sit quietly as well. The meals on the cruise are extensive and tasty. The guide was helpful and accessible. During the kayaking part, he joined the group to ensure everyone had a good experience.

Great
food was pretty good and there was lots of it. they were very detailed in providing for those who had dietary restrictions. some of my favourite dishes were the fried fish (soooo soft yet crispy, no bones!!! very fresh) and the crabcakes, prepare for a seafood feast if you don't state any food restrictions. the itinerary was alright, i quite disliked the pearl farm but enjoyed the kayaking. weather was bad/foggy (what a pity!) so there was no visit to the beach. i found the cave visit on the 2nd day to be quite informative and interesting. our tour guide was horrible and spoke exclusively to a woman in our group in such a quiet voice that we had to eavesdrop on other guides. the staff on board can get a bit brusque at times. also, tips are not included and you do feel pressured at the end to give a bit. overall.. i'm not sure i don't regret going.

Great
We booked the 3-day, 2-night cruise. The highlights were kayaking among the karst formations, the sunrise view out the window of our cabin, and walking through several interesting caves. A couple of notes: 1) The R/T van ride from Hanoi is US$20 per person. 2) The 3-day and 2-day passengers are on the same boat. Day 1 and Day 3 for the 3-day passengers are the same as Day 1 and Day 2 for the 2-day passengers. For Day 2, the 3-day passengers are moved to a separate boat for the day, where you are taken kayaking (in a different spot than the first day) and caving and given the opportunity to hike to the peak of Ti Top, which has an excellent overlook of the bay. Unfortunately, it's also very crowded and chaotic there. Day 1 includes kayaking and a mercifully short visit to a pearl farm and Day 3 includes a visit to a quite spectacular cave and making spring rolls. The boat itself seemed a little old but well maintained. The food is nothing to write home about, but not bad either. Don't come expecting a big cruise ship experience - we saw some people complaining about the lack of activities but remember, you're on a relatively small ship with very limited space and staff.

Great
Our tour guide was great, covering the activities that were promised, not feeling rushed for time and able to enjoy the cruise, he was also willing to help us book our bus trip to Ninh Binh from ha long bay and brought us directly to the bus Our cruise ship is modest, the room size is barely enough but comfortable. The bed does not feel clean and I slept with my silk sleeping bag. The bathroom has hot water but it is crammed, the toilet paper is lousy quality, the shower cubical is tilted which meant water would leak across the bathroom instead of into the drain. The food is plentiful but is mostly carbs (French fries, potatoes) and western food (potato salad, French fries) with a lack of Vietnamese local food to have an authentic experience
