Great
Property was lovely. Expensive. I was not aware there would be a $200 service dog fee. Can you have that waived

Good
When booking our first trip to Amelia Island, we researched between Omi and the Ritz. We decided on Omi based on the amenities. The positives: shuttle service is very quick if you are wanting to go to the onsite restaurants, as well as shopping. You are able to use the walking paths as many restaurants and shopping are only a few minutes walk. The area is beautiful and the beach was easily accessible. The nature center is a nice walk from the hotel and fun for the kids. Buddy the macaw greats you and the staff explained each animal to us. The negatives: at check-in we didn’t get the kids welcome bag so make sure you ask (we had to go back and request it), the family pool side was not well kept. This is not all the staffs fault as people should pick up after themselves, but there were many dishes, drinks, trash all throughout the area each day we stayed (note: we only used the family pool area). This was a common theme throughout the hotel, the piers out to the ocean, as well as the beach had many used towels people have left, these towels would not be picked up for 1-2 days. Used glasses and food would be seen all over the hotel (near the elevators) and would remain for 1-2 days. Maid service was hit or miss, they came very late in the day (usually the time when we were getting ready for dinner). Our experience is unique to others and we may have different expectations; nevertheless, we enjoyed our trip and the staff that we interacted with was very pleasant.

Great
I was traveling with my teenage son who is disabled. The hotel itself wasn’t super accessible for him, and it was difficult to get him up and down the “ramps” to the pool. Elevator to and from the pool was inside a little room that was not well ventilated with no A/C which was difficult for him as well. Restaurants were also pretty far from the room. The service was exceptional, and the food was great. We all enjoyed the pool and the activities for the kids (kinda pricey) room was just mediocre.

We had an amazing stay! Our room had a beautiful beach view and overlooked the pool, making it the perfect place to relax. This was one of the most relaxing vacations we've had in a long time. I wish Expedia allowed half-star ratings because I would give this resort 4.5 stars. The only reason I didn't feel it was a perfect 5-star experience was the food and a few minor inconveniences. Of all the restaurants on the resort, the only ones that truly delivered a quality dining experience were Florabell's for breakfast and the room service. The food at the other restaurants simply didn't live up to what we expected from a resort of this caliber. We also had difficulty finding a working ice machine during our stay. While this wasn't a major issue, it was an unexpected inconvenience that could easily be improved. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly return for the beautiful views, relaxing atmosphere, excellent accommodations, and friendly atmosphere. We highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

If you are looking for a true luxury escape to reset, the Omni Amelia Island delivers perfectly. The resort grounds are massive and gorgeous, making you feel entirely removed from the stress of everyday life. The massive pool deck overlooking the ocean is magnificent, and the poolside service makes it incredibly easy to lose track of time. The staff was phenomenal always smiling and eager to help. Between the excellent dining choices right on the property (like the steakhouse and fresh seafood spots) and the charming local eateries nearby, every meal was a hit. A flawless vacation experience.

I went there for the first time over Fourth of July weekend and the rooms were dated and not clean. Dishes from previous guests were in our doorway, and remained there overnight and well into our first full day. Add to that we found pubic hair in the bathroom on the floor and when we brought to housekeeping’s attention, they came and cleaned the room but still neglected to take care of the hair. It was foul. We asked for another room and they moved us and offered to comp some of the services we had booked. We moved rooms and stayed another two nights but ended up cutting our stay short and checking out early. We were not comped anything - tried to follow up a few times but ultimately was ignored. Will never be back.
