Stayed with friends

The stopper in the bathroom sink was broken. Staff was not able to fix it. Fortunately, we travel with a rubber stopper so we used that. The air conditioning could not be adjusted to accommodate the heat wave France was having during our visit. We stayed two nights and our used coffee cups were not replaced, nor were the instant coffee packets or paper drinking cups. For a hotel at this level, I would have expected glass drinking glasses.

The hotel was simple, clean, and had a friendly and welcoming staff. It's located right on the Loire river and across the street is a walking path along the river. It has a tiny parking garage as part of the hotel. It was perfect for our needs.

Restaurant offering dinner, where there might be a bit of difficulty with English. My order of a 3-course menu was originally taken wrong. With some efforts the appetizer and dessert could be added back. Nearby streets seemed a little run-down. 10-minute walk to Place Louis XII.

Fantastic
Lovely stylish hotel right on the Loire in the heart of Blois. Excellent underground cat park and super, helpful and friendly staff. We now plan to return on our way back to England from the Dordogne for a further overnight stay.
