Room was clean but rather small. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast options was great but they close the dining restaurant at 10 when breakfast is until 10. Hotel is located conveniently next to Paris Gare De Lyon. It feels less safe when it gets dark which people loitering around outside the hotel. The hotel entrance needs card access when it gets late so that makes feel safer once you’re inside the hotel.

Rooms were very tight for the price we Paid. We initially booked for 2 nights but switched to another 4 star hotel next night as we got a better view. Choose Marriott if prices are same. Marriott is a great hotel compared to this one.

Stayed with kids

Our stay was good, particularly with children and easy access to transportation. Room was serviced daily. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was prepared well upon arrival. Only feedback we have is, we ordered take out one night and we were hoping to sit and eat in the common area downstairs however we were advised all the seating in the lobby was for bar patrons and were asked to eat in our room which wasn't ideal for us.

Stayed with kids

Located right next to one of Paris Central stations . If you are passing through Paris is a good place to stay. However, if you plan to stay for a few days , I recommend staying on another centrally located hotel ( this hotel is 30 min by car to the Eiffel Tower and other attractions) . Please use the forward entrance of the hotel as the back entrance looks like very unsafe. Very good breakfast, food on the room service was tasteless. Staff was very nice. Overall 3/5.

Stayed with friends

The hotel was quite clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with a wide variety of options. I used the pool often. It was a nice room with jungle style wallpaper and the sound of chirping birds. It is near the # 1 Metro which provides easy transportation to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Champs Elysees. There were other Metro lines as well and RER. Although the lobby was attractive I would have liked it if there were more places to hang out to chat. There was only one couch. The rest tables and chairs where it seemed that you would have to buy something to sit there. All in all I have a favorable impression of the hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay at Novotel Paris Gare De Lyon! Staff were wonderfully friendly, the room was immaculate, and the beds were lovely and comfy. Tres bonne! We'd highly recommend it to anyone considering staying here!
