The room is spacious and clean. I like the location since it is near Ximending and across it is a park where we can walk early in the morning. The staff responds quickly to me messages in WhatsApp.

Although the facilities were a bit old, they were well cleaned. The only minor issue was that the shower water temperature fluctuated—sometimes getting a bit hot or a bit cool than ideal—but it never swung to extremes like scalding hot water or freezing cold water, so it was well within an acceptable range. For the duplex suite we stayed in, having a washing machine and detergent in the room helped us pack lighter and bring fewer changes of clothes. This meant we only needed to use one side of our suitcase for our own belongings when arriving, leaving the other side completely free to fill with souvenirs for the return trip. The staff were warm and helpful. The location is convenient for both dining and sightseeing, as it is close to Taipei Main Station and near both Ximending and Dihua Street.I will book this hotel again when I stay in Taipei.
