FantasticSolo stay
Parking was easy - even though on a main intersection in Sunnybank, traffic noise wasn't a problem.
Property is old but comfortable for short stays. Hotel offers good food and is surrounded by many restaurants within easy walk. Shopping centre immediately across the road - Coles, KMart, Woolworths, banks etc.
Easy public transport to the city from the bus stop on the KMart side - 50c bus fares make getting around very easy, especially to the city.

I realise it is an older hotel but the bathroom looked like very little had been done to it in the past 50years. The shower had obviously been repaired at some point an actually had a very unattractive checker plate panel in the middle of the wall. The soap holder was very loose and couldn't hold anything at all. The main room has obviously been repainted and recarpeted which was nice. We were very disappointed there wasn't a toaster as that what we had planned for breakfast. The eyelet curtains are falling apart and should be replaced. For the price that was paid it was very disappointing, but it was incredibly convenient to the wedding reception we attended across the road. We also dined at the bistro and appreciated the discount because of our booking, however it was the smallest steak in history with a very large price tag. The 3 prawns on top were bigger than the actual steak.

Good value hotel with good in-room amenities. Close to shops and main road bus routes. Discount at the neighbouring club on meal was useful.

Stayed here a week, for the location. Staff were very kind to allow me early access to the room due to a medical matter. Room was old school but clean and comfortable. View of the parking lot reduced privacy. Busy area. Free parking and walking distance to buses, many shops and food venues very handy. Food at the hotel bistro was very good and we enjoyed several times and invited others for lunch there as well. Hotel, bistro and cleaning staff are all lovely.

Arrival was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Studio looked neat with fresh linen.
However, during the night the room was infested with cockroaches and the bathroom had ants and other insects all over the floor which appeared to come from the hole in the bathroom floor. I could not sleep and left 1am
Very disappointing.
