We had a pleasant stay at Hotel 81 Gold. The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and always willing to help. I really appreciate how they went out of their way to accommodate our requests and make our stay more comfortable. Special mention to Sir CJ, Sir Jonathan, and Ms. Ameera for their excellent service and kindness. Thank you for making our stay a wonderful experience! The hotel is conveniently located about a 10‑minute walk from Aljunied Station, with plenty of dining options nearby. The room was clean and well‑equipped with toiletries. Its size felt just right—not too cramped, yet not overly spacious. The staff were approachable and welcoming, making the stay pleasant.

I stayed at Hotel 81 – Gold and had a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the price is affordable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to a staff member named Aida (or similar) who kindly allowed me to check in early even though I arrived about 2–3 hours before check-in time. I really appreciated that gesture. Would recommend for a budget-friendly stay.

The service staff were excellent, replacing towels and sheets, The reception staff were very polite. The room was clean, and the lift looked new or recently refurbished. The toilet and shower also appeared newly refurbished. The hotel’s location is very good, with easy access to public transport and plenty of food options nearby. It’s a great spot if you love durians. We stayed for 5 days. The staff are very helpful, and the hotel is close to the bus stop and not too far from the MRT station. If you’re coming from the airport, you can easily take the MRT. The room is small and it was a bit difficult to open our baggage, but overall it’s worth the price. They provide amenities and also include a hairdryer.

Aida was very friendly all through out our stay. Also suggesting places to eat. The location is near the bus stations so its easy for us to transport from one place to another. There are a lot of food places in the area. The room is small but good enough for you to be able to rest since we are out of the hotel most of the time. The housekeeping is kind enough to always replace our towels, take our trash and fix our bed everyday when we return to the hotel from tour.

Stayed here during the Singapore GP and was lucky to get it at a non inflated price! If you’re on a budget, this is a good option for you. Its a 2 min walk from the nearest bus station and a 15min walk from the train station (which has direct access to the airport). During race day, staff gave us some free flags and took a photo of us with a race themed background! Upon check-out, we were given a print out of the photo which was such a cute touch. Rooms were straight to the point, you get what you pay for. Clean, comfortable, enough for a weekend stay where you’re out majority of the time
