Beautiful hotel just need to work on shuttle times picking up guests.

Smelled terrible! The rooms look nothing like the pictures, everything is dirty and stained.

After checking in, I was given a room that had clearly not been cleaned after the previous guest. I returned to the front desk and showed the staff photos. So they moved me to another room. Unfortunately, the second room also had trash left in the trash can, which made me question the hotel’s housekeeping standards. I did not want to go back to the front desk again, so I stayed for the night and moved on with my trip the next morning. There is also no breakfast restaurant on the property. My room was near the ice machine and laundry room, and I could hear noise from the hallway after midnight, which woke me up. The front desk staff was helpful when I raised the issue, but the cleanliness and noise problems made the stay disappointing.

The reservation I had included a refrigerator and we did not receive it until the last night of our stay. We lost our leftovers for two of the nights. I called 7 times and went to the desk twice before they finally brought it. Every time they promised they were on the way with it including the second night when we stayed up til midnight waiting for the promised item. When asking about receiving compensation for the inconvenience and loss of food no one there ever could do anything. I needed to speak to a manager, so far I haven’t been able to even get one even on the phone. The parking was also a nightmare, you pay $23 a night (on top of the room price) but they clearly don’t keep count of how many people are using it because two nights many cars were double parked making it very hard to navigate and certainly not allowing confidence that your car would not be hit or dinged. Overall the hotel itself was nice and clean and M-F the deli inside the hotel will deliver the food to your room. The food and coffee were good. The hotel is also located in a great spot for getting around or ordering food. Based on customer service however I would hesitate to stay here again.

Large room and the happily provided us with a crib at no extra charge. Great location within an easy walk of Newark Penn. will definitely stay here again.

When we arrived staff were courteous and explained everything that we needed to know and explained that there was a film set in hotel with shooting ongoing always answered any query we had wether it was during the day or even late in evening/early morning security staff as well were excellent as someone who doesn’t sleep much they provided chat no matter what time of day or night . One downside was no breakfast in this hotel although informed we could go to sister hotel around the corner I felt that it would have been better with breakfast being available

On the positive side the price was good by comparison with other options in the area. However the hotel is quite shabby and feels like there has been no investment for a while. The bedroom itself was clean enough, as was the bathroom, but the blinds on the window were ripped, and the wardrobe had no clothes hangers. Staff were not unfriendly, but didn't exactly show any enthusiasm. At check-in you just get your key card and directed to the elevator - there was no mention of breakfast being in the next door hotel, that there was a shop, that there was an airport shuttle (which I could not get an answer about before I arrived). There was an advertised top floor open space that looked like a bomb site.

Parking onsite overnight is 20ish dollars, tight lot. Easy walk to prudential center.

The hotel was clean and pretty convenient to where we needed to be. The shuttle was a nice feature. But the service was not great. We had to call the front desk 3 times to get a roll of toilet paper. The first time they said the housekeeping staff was not in yet and would be there in 30 minutes. 45 minutes later we called and talked to a different person who did not know of our request. Another 45 minutes later, we talked to a 3rd person who finally sent someone up. Just poor service.
