GreatStayed with family
Excellent location! Like that it’s nestled away from the noise of Rembrandt Square. Staff was helpful in getting tv fixed. Does not have fridge or small amenities like disposables which I for once needed but didn’t want to go downstairs and ask staff. Reconstruction was occurring so hardly checked out the communal areas.

GoodStayed with friends
The pros of the place where that the staff were amazing and it is a beautiful property
They had just renovated a new kitchen and bar area, which was wonderful
Again, the staff were amazing and helpful
However, the cons are that a mattress kept sliding off the platform. The pillows were so huge. You couldn’t even put your head on them without straining your neck. And they did not have any face/ wash cloths. Maybe that’s a thing in Europe, but I have not experienced that before.

Not great!! I booked a room at the Eden Hotel because I thought it was old and charming, and when I arrived, my room was in the NYX Hotel, which was not at all charming. Very confusing and disorienting to go up and down hallways and stairs through 2 different hotels, and try to figure out which entrance your cab will be at. We asked for clean towels on two occasions and even offered to carry them up ourselves from reception, but were told they would deliver them to our room for us. No towels ever showed up, and we were forced to use wet damp towels for 2 days (we had water on the floor in the bathroom from something leaking every day) so always damp towels! Hotel location was OK, but that’s about all I can say was a positive for the hotel. The hotel was under construction, which I did not know when I booked it, so maybe that is why there was so much chaos about the accommodations. Would not stay there again.

GreatStayed with friends
Nothing major really!
But on our second day we left the room at 9am, and when we came back from our day errance around 5.30pm to chill for a bit , the room has not been cleaned , the housekeeper then showed up at 6.30pm when we were relaxing before going back out for diner ... we refused service and had to ask for clean and dry towel...( that were provided instantly)
Other than that weird housekeeping schedule .. and the fact the young staff at the desk was unable to give any information regarding , restaurants, Tram information or other classic tourist questions, the bed were super confortable , the location is perfect and we had a great time overall ...

GreatSolo stay
I really enjoyed my stay. My room was comfortable and clean. The only thing I had issues with is the room was very dark. I hope there are rooms that have a little more light. Location is great and the staff is lovely.

GoodStayed with family
Hotel is in Rembrandt Square and as such the area is very busy with lots of dining and other Amsterdam amenities. However hotel lobby was closed due to construction and staff seemed ambivalent about guests. Room was very small and poorly lit. Due to the construction there were no available hotel amenities.
