The first room we were sent to was smelling and they moved us to a different room which their safety deposit box wasn't operating. We called the front desk and told them about the problem. After about half an hour a person came to our room and tried to fix it , and told us that he doesn't know what is the problem with the safe. The following day two people came in our room and the safe wasn't finally fixed. We had a dinner invitation in Munich Central the first night , but we didn't want to leave our room with our valuables in the room or leave the room and carry our valuables with us . Unfortunately we missed our meeting and dinner invitation at the first night of our stay.

I am a well travelled person who has stayed a lot in hotels and so know a thing or two about hotels. I was an international travel checking in to the Hotel Courtyard by Marriott Munich at Garching, Germany. The lady who checked me in was very rude and not at all in a mood to talk to me or answer any of my questions. She was holding my credit card for a much higher amount than what I had booked the hotel room. When I showed her my online reservation confirmation, she was not very nice and did hold the amount that I had booked for plus for any unexpected charges that I may incur which is a normal practice in many hotels and I understand that. I asked her about breakfast and she rudely told me a rate that was not what I was told when I was booking the hotel room. Again, I would have been okay had she spoken properly to me. In short, I expected top be treated a little better than the treatment I received at this Marriott.

Clean room

Very nice hotel, room, staff. Only parking is a little expensive

Hotel is nice and clean and next to subway. There are no restaurants in walking distance but plenty of restaurants at the next subway station. Overall great experience except that the cleaning staff broke the toilet seat and the hotel staff told me they won’t have have a repair person until the next day so I should use the toilet without seat? I ended up taking it apart and repairing it myself.

In the middle of nowhere

Bar

Comfortable room - great location. Helpful staff

Staff was wonderful especially the hostess/bartender Rita. Hotel is further from the city center, but easily accessible with a short train ride. Surrounding area is quiet and calm making for a good night sleep.
