This is a wonderful boutique hotel, probably the best I’ve ever stayed in (and I travel a lot and stay in many hotels). The attention to detail, the thoughtfulness of the furnishings and decorations made me feel welcome … a yoga mat in the room, a stocked drinks fridge and quality snacks in the room, a full ice bucket and complimentary home baked shortbread biscuits brought to the room at the end of the day, quality artwork on the walls, a comfortable bed with quality linen, a selection of interesting books on the shelves. And then there is the quirky restaurant and rooftop terrace on the 6th floor - Gigi Rooftop - which serves great food and quality drinks … I didn’t want to go elsewhere as is so often the case in business hotels. Best of all is the staff, from the doorman and receptionist to the restaurant staff … they were all great!! Switched on, attentive friendly, they even remembered our names! I can highly recommend this place.

Fantastic central spot. Spacious and well designed / decorated rooms. Staff were 10/10. Rooftop restaurant is definitely worth visiting. Fantastic food, drinks and vibes. Shout out to London (one of the bar staff). Great energy.

Stayed with friends

Everyone is so friendly and courteous here at the hotel. Dining experience in the hotel is excellent. Food is top notch. Security is good. The only issue is the glass doors for the room toilets. Feels weird/awkward. Even though it's obscure glass, it still feels weird - unless your staying by yourself.

For business

If I could give 6 stars I would. This hotel is an absolute marvel. The staff here are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The rooms are delightful. My bed was comfy and the room spacious and well laid out. The decor throughout is fantastic. Small note is that as an older building you may hear some noise from guests in other rooms but I was not at all disturbed in my stay. The food is excellent, there is a lovely breakfast included. there is a great onsite restaurant with a rooftop terrace. I was unfortunately taken sick with a chest infection I picked up on the plane, and the hotel were really very accomodating for me during this difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Really this place is a template for what a good hotel should be.

The staff and amenities were fabulous. The great location allowed access to all the sights. The drinks and dining on the rooftop were spectacular. Try the French onion soup!
