Below average The kitchen area needed a good cleaning! There were lots of maintenance issues; small things that needed done everywhere. Parking was great. Breakfast was small with few choices. Staff was friendly but not easy to find. We would not stay there again.

FantasticSolo stay
Overall, my stay was really good at The Corning Inn. The hotel was peacefully quiet all day and night. The only thing I wish was different was the housekeeping on my third morning. The woman never stopped knocking and yelling "housekeeping". No matter how many times I yelled "just a minute" she kept knocking and yelling. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

GoodSolo stay
My trip to Corning and the Finger Lakes was incredible, but my accommodation was just average. To be honest, I probably should have booked somewhere else that fit my style a bit better. This place does the trick if you just need a clean bed for a night or two, especially if you're traveling solo on a budget but I’d skip it if you're traveling as a couple or with family. The perks? It’s right off the highway, near plenty of stores, and the rooms and bathrooms are cleaner than what you usually get for this price. Book it for the budget and convenience, not the ambiance!

Horrible place. Rooms were dirty. Hallways had bad smell. Everything was peeling off and broken.
Cold breakfast was a joke.

GoodStayed with partner
Stayed 2 nights to visit Watkins glen state park. Convenient location. When we arrived motel from outside looked a little sketchy. A couple of windows with cardboard on them. The room itself was clean. Not the best mattress and pillows were hard. Another couple staying in another room endured a horrible night's sleep with someone on the first floor below them screaming, cursing at 1:00 in the morning. Talked to front desk in the morning and was told police were called and it was a drunk man. Motel is family owned and seem nice enough.

FantasticStayed with family
I was plesantly surprised by this place! On the outside looks about the same quality as maybe a Red Roof inn, the rooms themselves appear to be from a much nicer hotel. I didn't find one Speck of dust, straight hair from a previous guest, or mystery stain. The place was beautifully maintained on the inside, though it was unclear where the "continental breakfast" was.
