GreatSolo stay
The actual hostel was very nice, although the walls felt very thin not keeping out much noise and location wise it wasn’t the best other than that a nice experience.

Only stairs so if you stay be prepared to carry your suitcase up multiple flights of stairs. The neighborhood is very loud until late at night. My TV volume did not work, one of the lamps by the bed has no outlet to plug into so it’s just for decor, there was no trash can in my room, the vent looked moldy or dirty and no keurig or coffee maker in the shared kitchen so no way to make coffee even if you bought or brought your own. The place is clean and new and the bed was comfortable.

Rougher area, but well maintained and secured space. AC was almost certainly not on, in fact we had to double check to see if that was even an amenity offered, in the end we just slept with windows open in hope the wind would help. Room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. Absolutely no parking. We went out for dinner and when we came back, we had to park 3-4 blocks away on the main road. In the end, we wouldn’t stay again, but it wasn’t a bad stay for the price we paid. Good local food if you do end up staying. Expect to know some Spanish or have a translator ready.

Parking wasn’t a problem for my Friday night but Saturday got complicated since it’s stacked. One person was trying to exit the driveway for a while apparently. Also, there was someone kinda being dramatic and loud in a public space. Am I being judgemental? yeah but I’m also from south la, so I can be. I just wanted to use the place to rest and she was really testing me. Thankfully, the room itself was super comfortable and the balcony made for some good lighting and a breeze. This place is still totally worth it for the price. Exposition park itself is much nicer these days compared to when I grew up here in the 90’s. Great location if you have tix to a show there.

I found that most everything was convenient until we had to try and sleep with it at 75 degrees in there. I don't know about the you, but have u ever met anyone that can sleep with it being at 75 degrees?? I never have. We were only down for USC training camp for my son. You he didn't do poorly, but he didn't do his best because he didn't get any sleep at all, neither did I. The house is capable of going below 75 degrees because it has air conditioning. But they have a box over it and it's locked so you can't use it. Even at motel 6 you can use it. If I wouldn't have known that then I wouldn't have spent $80 plus fees. I should have stayed somewhere else just where we could sleep comfortably. We came from Idaho for this camp and arrived at 8:30 in the morning. And they would not even let us check in early at like noon. We had to wait till 3:00 p.m. .. I guess that's another thing that kind of was unaccommodating. I haven't texted them and left him a message at 7:00 a.m. in the morning about this and nobody got back to me. But I mean we're talking 9 hours later. I had to call again and talk to you somebody and they apologize & said they didn't get it and then they said they did get it and then they said they can't even get on the phone's until 11:00 a.m. . And that which I said why didn't I receive a return text message or call back then, no answer. So I had down that I was going to give four stars but now it's 3 stars. I feel customers are Not the prime focus.

I stay at this place, everything was good but you need a code to get inside and into your room. My friend and I went out and came back to sleep and our code stop working and we trying to contact the property manager but no reply we were stuck outside for about 30 mins. we ended up living cause it just felt off to us that no one heard us but lighter were on in the rooms.

The room we stayed at was nice, it has a common area in the kitchen with a recording camera(i guess for security, didn't bother me), shared bathroom with other guest between room 3 and 4, It was only provided 1 full towel per guest, and it was a little stinky and stained, It also would be nice to get some wash cloth and hand towels. I had some issues with the doors lock codes but they were eventually fixed within the hour, overall pretty good we found parking on site which was nice but limited. Just have in mind you are sharing with other people and you can hear everything even music at 1am in the morning heavy heels steps walking up and downstairs, other guest leaving the main door open so don't leave nothing personal in common areas bc anybody could get there. I would stay back in this this place but definitely will get a room with private bathroom next time.
