Good location, walking distance to beach and funk zone. Room was basic, but clean. Bathroom tubs need to be updated. Pool was warm, but could be cleaned

We loved it. We will stay there in future when we need to be in Santa Barbara for sure. Beautiful spacious room. Large, newly appointed bathroom. In room coffee and fridge. On demand delicious coffee in reception. Pool was a delight. I didn't go in the hot tub but it looked great. The hotel is one block from world class, spectacular views of beach and harbor and also super close to SB main shopping, restaurants and night life street (State St.). All in all, wonderful location, quiet boutique hotel. There are no conference rooms or a large lobby etc. as you might find with a large chain hotel. This was part of the attraction for my family. Staff were wonderful.

Very clean room. wonderful toiletries, great having a separate bedroom, queen and full beds. The outside patio was private and lovely with bistro chairs and a table for two, lemon trees and plants lining the fenced patio. Parking was always available. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, and many cultural activities, shops and restaurants. The staff are courteous and helpful. I would stay again!

Loved it. I stayed at the Franciscan Inn at the end of a long week of travel for work. It was super quiet, clean, simple but elegant. The bathtub was amazing and I got a wonderful night’s rest. It was walking distance to the train station so I didn’t have to spend extra money for a cab. It also was walking distance to the beach and a nice walk to downtown. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. Things that could be improved: breakfast, but I appreciated the fruit, coffee and cookies in the afternoon. Would definitely return
