Very nice stay for my wife and I's 1st wedding anniversary! A window came off in the kitchen when we tried to lower it and the floor under the bathtub creaked a lot while taking a shower. Wasn't good for the couple below us. Otherwise it was a great bed and breakfast and the breakfast was great and the coffeecake in the afternoon was a real bonus. Overall a very good stay.

We felt spoiled staying at the Bath Street Inn for our two nights in Santa Barbara! The staff members/innkeepers were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was divine, cake with tea/coffee was delicious at 4 pm, and wine (!!) at 5:30 pm. We appreciated the Victorian building and decor which referenced the late 19th century, and our room, the Rose Room, was tiny but rich in old world charm. I highly recommend this inn!

Charming place, great location, everything worked. Room was a bit small, but it is a bed and breakfast so that is to be expected.

It's a very well-located, comfortable, clean, quaint property with very helpful staff and a great breakfast in the morning and cool little snack table/beverage area throughout the afternoon and all-night.
I'm more of a hotel person, though, so some things about it weren't totally optimal for me. For instance, I'd rather have a lobby with a front desk staffed 24/7, but this was mostly contactless. And although I know that's how things are nowadays, I'm not crazy about it. Also, parking was just slightly on the tight side, but if most patrons park correctly (i.e., don't take up more than one space), it works out. Also there's no elevator (which the site alerted me to ahead of time), so if you're on the 3d floor you have to do some climbing. It's not that big of a deal, but one of the staircases leading to the 3d-floor is a bit narrow, if you have a large piece of luggage. Also, in my room there was no standard chair on which you can sit at a table and use your laptop or write notes, etc. (I had to work off-and-on during my visit, so this would've been handy). However there was a nice, large, easy chair, which I managed to use.
But these were generally small things and probably not unexpected in a B&B. Like I said, I'm used to hotels. But within the framework of a B&B, I don't think you could do much better. Very pleasant, charming experience. So although there were a few small drawbacks (in my opinion), I nevertheless would give it 5 stars.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were able to work with my special dietary needs. The afternoon wine and snacks were a bonus. We enjoyed the balcony, but that room had a small bathroom, and it was tight around the actual bed area. Overall, it was a very nice stay in a beautiful setting.

We arrived early evening and were greeted with a lovely spread of cakes, cookies, coffee and wine. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and served directly to you. We will stay there again.
