We had to change our plans at last minute because my husband broke his ankle so needed somewhere wheelchair friendly. The hotel boasts accessibility despite having no wheelchair parking and steps into reception making access impossible. The spa (which we were hoping to use) is also not accessible by wheelchair - and can only be booked for private sessions (of which only one at dinner time was available when we checked in). Very disappointing! The hotel itself is very pretty and the rooms in the new wing are attractive, if a little clinical - and the balconies and rails need a good scrub to rid them if bird poo. Really don't understand why the venue is rated as accessible but our main other comment is that the staff need to smile more 😁 and be a little helpful.

We spent two nights at this spa during a 17 day trip to Spain. Me, my wife and 16 year daughter stayed here for 2 nights to take a break from our driving tour of central and northern Spain. We took advantage of the spa baths, messages and the ladies had aroma body treatments (all of these are extra costs, but we found them to be worth it). It was a great break from the "vacation" and allowed us to relax. The town that the spa is located isn't to interesting, but we spent most of the time in our room or the spa. I would recommend this hotel/spa.

Great
The accommodation was acceptable but the beds were incredibly hard. The two small windows in our average size room overlooked the outside bar area and we were affected by the inevitable noise. The two Austrian blinds didn't afford much privacy so we were in semi darkness for most of our stay. Just as well as one blind wouldn't stay up. The staff were helpful and dinner was of good quality. Breakfast though was limited in both quantity and quality. The hotel is a short walk to the centre of town and the magnificent church and quaint railway station building. An incomplete new road from the Toledo direction played havoc with my Satnav. The locals have waited ten years so far for this road to be opened! We suggest that use of the Spa be booked in advance as on arrival the earliest time available was 23.00 hours. We would go back but ask for a room on the upper level to ensure light and privacy. The price paid was acceptable but dinner was expensive.
