We stayed at Calistar Hotel for one night before our departure from Seoul, and it was a pleasant experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we appreciated the shared pantry where guests could enjoy their meals. The staff were accommodating throughout our stay. The only thing that caught us by surprise was the request for a credit card upon check-in for hotel purposes, but everything went smoothly. The location is another plus—it’s surrounded by restaurants, convenience stores, and plenty of shops right in the heart of Myeongdong. Overall, it’s a great choice for a short stay, especially if you want easy access to everything before heading home.

The hotel is centrally located in Myeongdong, making it very convenient with plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby. The location was definitely a big plus and made getting around very easy. Overall, the stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The only downside was that the air conditioning unit seemed dusty. When it was turned on, dust came out, which affected the room experience slightly. Aside from that, everything else was good.

Be sure to check in within the provided check in time as no staff will be available to check you in after that. The room enough if you are just going to sleep there. Room is clean.

I booked a dorm type with two bunk beds. They are very strict with their check-in and check-out even if you booked a day before your arrival they will not let you checked-in in the morning. The comfort room is separate and is common/shared to all of the business renting the floor (not only Calistar) so it's a bit troublesome to go outside if you want to pee in the middle of the night or at dawn. Bed is nice and common kitchen is also good. Location is very close to restos, pharmacy, and shops

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating.
