A bunch of Gen-Z hippies in a wanna be 4 star hotel that feels like a hostel full of poor students. Zero amenities in the room, want an early check in? you’ll have to pay, even though the room is available, want to get your room clean? it will take them 8-9 hrs. Want other type of pillows except feather pillows? Yeah no way, good luck getting any decent sleep. Rooms were filthy and full of dust, the young girl cleaning the room couldn’t care less, no separate lift for the housekeeper to drag all her rubbish she nonchalantly jumped in with a bunch of guests… When we flagged issues of course they took it personally and got offended as Gen-Z’s usually do because they must make everything about themselves and give zero customer service or apologies. Now on to the food, the chef is probably a retired alcoholic because all his food involves garlic, onion, excessive salt and a bunch of sour sauces. For the love of God man!!! Chimichurri and raw onion for breakfast?? Where is the common sense? Breakfast is extremely limited, they have 5 things on the menu and 5 dried things in the buffet. Coffee was always served cold but with a nice foamy design wow!!! Dinner was again another nightmare, the chicken was very much alive and enough salt to make it as indelible as possible, impossible to eat. Never again

The food in Tope (rooftop restaurant at hotel) was limited choice and boring. The music was loud but great taste. The food at Cantina Valentina was limited for vegetarians, service was great. Loved the breakfast and quirky features of the hotel. Not a good location if a lone traveller wanting to use the local train station. Staff very helpful.

Great style hotel with lovely rooms and fantastic FOH staff. Location is good near to the station. The breakfast was overpriced and not that great considering what was on offer. The coffee was nice but even though the chefs cook off the menu it’s not tasty.

The hotel is great. Staff is friendly. The café is good and the Peruvian restaurant also. Would recommend. The area to the north is not the best, but it’s very close to the Grand Place and the closeness to the Botanic Garden is a great plus as well.
