Visitors can take a trip back in time when they stay at this chateau with its stained-glass windows, ornate woodwork and stately gardens, because in the 16th Century the building and its estate played an important role in France's religious wars. The hotel is ideally located for exploring the legendary Loire Valley, yet in spite of its isolation (it is set in 24 hectares of countryside), the premises are only 20 km from Tours Airport and there is an on-site Helipad. The 14 rooms, like the rest of the building, have a unique historic decor, are furnished in genuine period furniture and are fully-equipped with private bathrooms. Guests can play tennis in the grounds, splash about in the outdoor pool or even use the helicopter. Other nearby options are hot-air ballooning and there is a golf course in the vicinity. The restaurant offers delicious regional cuisine and local wines.
