What people are saying about Experiences in Christchurch

A very convenient and time saving way to get to know Christchurch, especially on a day with 32 degree temperature. The tram driver who also does the commentary is very friendly, experienced and will show you ways to other places of interest when asked. The hop on hop off gives flexibility to your own travel schedule. Highly recommend for first time visitor to this small garden city!

Wonderful experience! You’ll have an opportunity to meet a husky, watch the penguins being fed, watch a few short 4D movies, experience an Antarctic storm simulation and ride in the Antarctic vehicle. The staff at reception will helpfully suggest an itinerary for you that minimises wait time between activities.

Ever since our girls were little they have wanted to ride in a helicopter. I suspect its because we stay near an army base and we see and hear choppers on a daily basis. Finally in chch we got our chance! The girls were delighted with our lady pilot Juliet! The flight can be a little bumpy at times but if you're up for an airview of the city, you should do this.

Very wonderful way to circle around central Christchurch and learn about the histories of the town. The tramway is 1.5 hours if you don’t stop. But definitely stop at Stop #3 & 4 for farmer’s market and the river. The tram is every 15 minutes so plan your stop wisely. And stop 12 for the botanic garden. It took me 5 hours and it is worth it.

The drivers have a very good knowledge of the history and present development of the city centre. The hopping on and dropping off at my preferred site make the exploration of the town very convenient and unique experience. It will be even better if the tram stop has number that coincides with the map given.

It will be the great experience for those who curious and lover Antarctic as there are videos, display boards, etc showing all the information on Antarctic. In additional to this general administration ticket we purchased from Klook, we bought the Penguin Backstage Pass when we at I.A.C. Personally I feel that the Penguin Backstage Pass not really worth it. So, suggest that to just stick to this general administration pass as it cover almost everything.
