We love the experience so much!Down under tours picked us up from the hotel at the start of our experience and brought us back after. Kuranda sky cable was a very thrilling ad enjoyable one. The rainforest we saw made us appreciate God’s wonderful creation and provision to the needs of human. The scenic rail experience was lovely and made us appreciate the human hands or efforts in building the railway and train carriages. It's route brought you to the best sceneries the rainforest had to offer. It was very educational as there are voice recorded prompts where to look and told us it's history. Overall a very enjoyable experience for the family!

Great experience and very organised. if there is an improvement that needs to be made will be the food, im not vegetarian so im ok but i can see that some of the vegetarian or vegan on the boat struggled with the food coz theres not much option. other than that it is perfect experience for me and my husband..

Definitely worth it! We stayed at Port Douglas and the the tour operator picked us up around 8.30am. Our tour guide Daniel was super-entertaining and kept the group engaged. He is very knowledgable and knows flora and fauna of the region quite well. The tour packs a lot in one day but there isn't a single moment of dullness! We went through Daintree rainforest; crossed Daintree river; and then drove all the way up to Cape Tribulation. The tour includes lunch. We had lunch in the middle of the rainforest next to a river. It was beautiful and the lunch serving comprising of steak; sausages; fish; rice and salad was quite generous. Along the way, we also managed to squeeze in a quick stop at Daintree Ice Cream Co. in the middle of the forest! We wrapped-up the tour by doing a short 45 min river cruise on river Daintree and were dropped-off back in Port Douglas by 4:30pm. Definitely recommend this trip. It's good value for money.

A great day out! There are lots to do and look at in Kuranda and the Skyrail/Rail package is the perfect way to get there and back. We also really appreciated the complimentary hotel transfers - the driver was very informative and had lots of great tips to share. The day started with a 10:20 am pickup from our hotel and we then took the short 15 min drive out of town to the Skyrail Station. I recommend downloading the Skyrail app before jumping on, as it gives you a free audio tour as you travel above the rainforest in the Skyrail. The Skyrail stops twice, Red Peak and Baron Falls, where you can enjoy a short (couple 100m) boardwalk through the rainforest before continuing. You will arrive in Kuranda around 12:00-12:30 pm. This ticket also allows you to take your time exploring Kuranda before getting on the 3:30 pm train back down the mountain. The train is a slow tip with many great photo opportunities and running commentary along the way. A nice relaxing way to spend the afternoon. You will arrive at Freshwater Train Station around 5:00 pm where you will be met by your hotel transfer.

I highly recommended this tour, it was around 4 hours drive including return and stops, so we have more than 6 hours to explore. We visited many places like the cape, Trinity Beach, Daintree Rainforest, and the George. We also swam at the George and our tour guide is amazing who told us interesting information about the places we visited and shared with us interesting stories.

This was the best group tour i have been on . Thanks to our guide Simon and Tim . Our group of 10 would have been a handful for anyone else but Simon was so knowledgeable he had everyone captured on every word. Thank you to you to Tim for being the best driver and keeping us all safe on those corners. Very well put together Active Tropic Explorer we will be back !
