About the event
Fresh out of college and adrift in New York City, idealistic graduate Princeton moves into a shabby walk-up on Avenue Q, where his new neighbours - part human, part fuzzy puppet - are all grappling with the same messy business of growing up: rent, romance, racism, purpose, and the crushing realisation that life doesn't come with a rulebook.
Styled after a gleefully filthy Sesame Street, this Tony Award-winning musical pairs plush puppetry with razor-sharp, laugh-out-loud lyrics and a surprisingly tender heart. This West End revival reunites the show with original Broadway director Jason Moore and puppet designer Rick Lyon at the Shaftesbury Theatre.
Riotously irreverent and recommended for ages 13 and up, it's a sharp, joyful antidote to the quarter-life crisis.
