Visiting the Louvre at 10 AM with a reservation was a fantastic experience. The short line allowed for quick entry, and the morning ambiance was serene. I enjoyed exploring masterpieces like the Mona Lisa without crowds. The natural light through the glass pyramid enhanced the beauty of the art. Highly recommended for an unforgettable morning!

It is very suitable for people who like to visit places. If you want to carefully taste a specific museum, you can consider buying a ticket for a specific museum and then buying a two-day museum pass!

Of course the Mona Lisa is amazing, but the works that I didn't know much about are also wonderful. Above all, the scale of the museum's splendor is something you can never experience in Japan. Tickets must be purchased in advance to enter (there are no same-day tickets!), so it's best to buy them through Klook.

A hidden gem in Paris! Musée de l'Orangerie is small but breathtaking—home to Monet’s iconic *Water Lilies* displayed in two oval rooms designed just for them. Standing in those serene, light-filled spaces feels like stepping into the paintings themselves. The lower level’s Impressionist collection (Renoir, Cézanne, Matisse) is equally impressive. What I loved: No crowds (unlike the Louvre!), intimate setting, and the way natural light enhances the art. Spent an hour here but could’ve lingered all day. Perfect for art lovers short on time.

As soon as we entered the museum, our tour guide immediately took us to see all the must-see treasures in the Louvre. So we didn't miss anything we wanted to see, but we strongly recommend that you choose our session, because more and more people want to see Mona Lisa later, so it will be difficult to find and squeeze in to see Mona Lisa in the front.

Things to Do in Place de la Concorde

Explore the Ancient Luxor Obelisk

At the center of Place de la Concorde, you'll find the stunning Luxor Obelisk. As you look up, you'll see it's over 3,000 years old, made of granite, and stands 23 meters (75 feet) tall. It once stood in front of the Luxor Temple in Egypt, and the hieroglyphs carved into it tell stories from the time of Pharaoh Ramesses II. At the base, you can see drawings of how the monument was moved and set up.

Drop by the Fountains

On each side of the Luxor Obelisk, you'll find two beautiful fountains inspired by those in Rome. The fountain near the Seine shows France's connection to the sea, with large figures representing the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. The fountain on the north side honors French rivers, with figures symbolizing the Rhone and Rhine.

Check out the Big Wheel

Don't miss the Big Wheel at Place de la Concorde---a 65-meter-tall ride that gives you amazing views of Paris. First set up in 2000, it returns each year for the Christmas village on the Champs-Élysées. With 42 pods, it turns slowly so you can enjoy sights like the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, and the Seine River.

Stay at the Luxurious Hôtel de Crillon

Hôtel de Crillon, built in 1758 by Ange-Jacques Gabriel, began as a private mansion for the Count of Crillon. Amazingly, the family kept it during the French Revolution, even with the guillotine just steps away. In the 1900s, it became a luxury hotel, and after a full renovation in the 21st century, it earned the prestigious "Palace" title, higher than five stars.

Ride La Grande Roue

Just outside the gates of the Tuileries Garden, near Place de la Concorde, you'll find La Grande Roue, the tallest Ferris wheel in France. If you're okay with heights, the ride offers amazing views over Paris, including the Eiffel Tower and a bird's-eye view of the Tuileries. Even one ride is enough to take in the beauty of the city from above!
