Due to my flight schedule, I was unable to enter for a visit this time, but luckily I had purchased an insurance plan which allowed me to claim part of the compensation.

Inside, the place was clean, cozy, and well-equipped. There was a small kitchenette, comfy beds, aircon (thankfully!), and even a BBQ pit outside. Perfect for a chill night with friends. The living area had a smart TV and fast Wi-Fi too, which was a nice bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful What I loved most was the outdoor space—plenty of room to hang out, and the sunset view was beautiful. Would I go again? Definitely. Great for a short getaway with friends or family. Bring snacks, bring games, and enjoy the vibes.

You can take a shower there with towels, bath towels, toothbrushes, etc. You can charge your phone and eat as much as you want.

Stepping onto the Canopy Park Walking Net was equal parts exhilarating and terrifying—my knees wobbled at first, but the bouncy, suspended sensation soon turned into pure joy! Walking 25 meters above the ground with Jewel’s lush greenery and the Rain Vortex in view felt surreal. My partner had to drag me off because I didn’t want to leave—it’s that much fun. Just a heads-up: avoid looking straight down if you’re scared of heights! An absolute highlight of our Changi layover.

Location is good if you plan around activities at Changi beach or off shore islands. Many shops in Changi village are closed. The accommodation is great, clean and cosy. Even thought the buses are near to each other, the sound proofing is good. Overall good & unique experience for the family.

Our stay at D’Resort Downtown East is very pleasant. The hotel staff are nice and helpful. Although the location is an hour away from the center, transport access is good. There is a shuttle to the mrt 10min away by walk, you just have to take note of the schedule. Overall experience is satisfactory!
