Things to do in Amsterdam

The overall experience of this trip (March 7th) was excellent. Our tour guide, Adu, provided clear and well-organized explanations throughout the journey. He not only gave detailed introductions to the historical backgrounds and cultural characteristics of each attraction but also presented them in a relaxed and engaging way, making the entire itinerary both enriching and never dull. Adu himself was very enthusiastic, patiently answering all questions from the group members, and his itinerary planning and time management were impeccable. The attractions on the tour were also well worth seeing, such as the picturesque Zaanse Schans Windmill Village, full of traditional Dutch charm, and the playful Lego Village, which is perfect for photos. Each place had its unique character. Giethoorn was particularly impressive; the small bridges, flowing water, and tranquil village atmosphere were incredibly relaxing. Overall, it was a rich and enjoyable trip. We not only saw many distinctive places, but also, thanks to tour guide Adu's professional and enthusiastic leadership, the entire journey was smoother and more fun. It comes highly recommended.

Nice to go, but advise to visit later as many tulips have not yet flowering. Anyway, really worth to go as the bus is convenient to bring you and back to This is Holland. I just take 2-3 mins free ferry between Amsterdam Central Station and This is Holland. Highly recommend to buy this package incl entrance ticket and bus.

Our guide Eric is amazing. He is very nice, funny, polite, and especially informative when it comes to introducing Netherlands and the places knowledge. and a great driver as well. Tickets and tour vouchers were easily obtained. The station staff directed us to Platform B to wait for the tour guide to lead us onto the bus. Sitting upstairs on the double-decker bus provided a better view for the journey. The first stop was Afsluitdijk for a brief 30-minute stay, to learn about the Dutch dam engineering technology that balances the separation of sea and land. The second stop was Giethoorn, first with a traditional 1-hour boat ride, followed by a very generous 2.5 hours of free time to stroll along the small bridges and waterways. Overall, a very satisfying experience, recommended for travelers who don't want to go on their own but want to spend more time in Giethoorn.

I spent 5 hours in this Museum. To understand more about Vincent Van Gough. Anyway, go and no regret and worth to do so. The museum is amazing to attract me to spend time and think more about my life.

Itinerary: The entire trip took 1 hour and 15 minutes, which was very standard, and no time was cut short. Safety: The boat sailed very smoothly, with no unsafe or unexpected factors. Value for money: Extremely high value for money, no forced sales or uncertain consumption, highly recommended!

I was very happy to visit the brewery and enjoy the various Heineken beers. Whether you had a ticket or not, everyone lined up in the same queue first. After entering the main hall, if you didn't have a ticket, you could buy one on the spot. If you had a ticket, you could continue queuing directly. At the same time, you could go to the cloakroom to store your luggage for free. We stored all our winter down jackets, beanies, and backpacks. Afterwards, they began explaining the history, ingredients, and brewing process of the beer. The package already included two beers; the first was after bottling, and the second was at the last station. After finishing the second beer, you could then proceed to the souvenir shop and leave.

First, you need to exchange your ticket at the tourist & ticket counter, then head to the waiting area to board the bus. Make sure to arrive early, as the bus waiting area is about a 5-minute walk from the station. The same large bus will provide transportation for the entire trip. I just wish we could have stayed in the garden a bit longer.

Standing in front of the painting, I realized that he was not a genius who suddenly appeared, but someone who still chose to create amidst chaos and misunderstanding. His life of 37 years was hardly recognized by the market; yet, a century later, he became the reason why countless people fly to Amsterdam on a pilgrimage. That sense of temporal dislocation is shocking. Art is not about technique, but about sincerity to the extreme. It’s not about success or failure, but about "whether you have given yourself over." Stepping outside the museum, the city is still bustling, but there is an added layer of depth in my heart. The value of travel may be to suddenly see oneself in a certain exhibition room.
