very friendly staff, views were beautiful even though it was overcast when we went, if you’ve been to other towers around the world it’s definitely a must do to compare how high you can go!

Value for money if you select from their menu of activities, which covers a lot.

Truly magical - one of the best experiences in New Zealand. The surroundings are surreal; it feels like another world. The tour includes behind-the-scenes insights and stories that will make your journey even more amazing.

An insightful and educational workshop-tour. Led by bubbly "Induction Officer" Mac, we were brought through different stages of behind the scenes of movie production. We were allowed to touch/operate and feel some tools and the intricate props as well. There were also some interactive stations which were fascinating. A well run and thoroughly enjoyable session.

This small group tour was great with two very friendly and interesting guides to drive us through the amazing region of Auckland, Cambridge, Hamilton and Waitomo. The journey to the first stop in the Alexander Farm in Watamata to get to the movie set Hobbiton was extraordinary accross the countryside, with our two guides full of anecdotes about the history of the land. The visit of the movie set itself, with a great guide, was incredible, with a story to every Hobbit hole of the set and many fun stories of the behind the scenes of the movie shooting. The visit ends with the exploration of two remodeled Hobbit holes in which it is so fun to take photos among the furnitures. The Hobbiton tour is followed with a drink at the tavern the Green Dragon. After the movie set, it was fine having a well deserved lunch at a local authentic restaurant, and to the next step: the exploration of the mysterious Waitomo Glowworm Caves, a wonder of NZ, with a passionate local guide. Amazing experience! The crew were all very knowledgeable about the ocean and marine life around it and were very happy to spot and update us on the birds and marine mammals in the area. We managed to catch some Common Dolphins and Bottlenose Dolphins during our cruise and were issued a complimentary voucher for our next visit (no expiry!) as we didn't manage to see any whales and they have a guarantee for all customers! It was also super cool to hear fun facts about the dolphins from their marine scientists onboard. Overall wonderful experience and I look forward to going back to Auckland and using up that complimentary voucher one day!

I highly recommend this tour! It was incredibly comfortable, perfectly organized, and our guide, Anthony, was absolutely fantastic! Friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. The entire experience was educational, enjoyable, and truly satisfying from start to finish.

We had an amazing time yesterday at the Hobbiton Movie Set and the glow worm caves. Even you have not watched the movie, as most of those who joined the tour, you'll still have a good time. Hobbiton is so beautiful. We had a good time with our driver Raymond from Auckland and Beyond Tours. He shared a lot of information about NZ. The tour was worth it.
