Things to do in Wanaka

I am so glad that I booked this tour!! Totally worth it, very charming little towns, eith plenty of local shops and delicious food! Our guide, Chris was fantastic — super knowledgeable and funny, with great stories and a smart sense of humor that made the day even more enjoyable.

Awesome experience! Finally got to jump after two cancellations due to bad weather. No need to worry about fear of heights — you won’t even have time to be scared, because your instructor will take you straight out of the plane. After just a couple of seconds, you'll be fully enjoying the free fall — and that’s the best part!

Location: In the center of the mountain, very remote. Experience: Upon arrival, there was a Chinese explanation, a video explaining and showing us instructions on how to use the gun; all with real firearms. For first-timers, it feels easy to hit the target. Not bad!

Puzzling World is a very interesting attraction, especially for families. You have a great maze to explore.

Awesome ride with a beautiful scenery of mountains, waterfall and lake! Pilots were safe and assuring. Gave us options of flying close to waterfalls and using the harness of the glide. Highly recommend!

The weather was originally great, but it started getting very windy right before we boarded. The whole boat was rocking back and forth. The captain tried his best to navigate to a more stable area, and we started enjoying the cheese platter and drinks. It's a shame because it would have been even better with good weather.

It was a lovely experience with a thorough and reassuring briefing and drive-by walkthroughs at the start of the experience before we did any actual cycling. The route was straightforward, safe and incredibly scenic and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We appreciated that the equipment and cycling gear was fairly well maintained and clean, and that the guide gave us recommendations for our lunch stops along the way. We also appreciated the ease of ending the activity; just lock our bikes at a parking station at Wanaka and we were free to proceed with the rest of our day!

It was an experience I was looking forward to, but unfortunately it was canceled due to poor local weather conditions on the day. However, they provided friendly and detailed updates on the schedule, and the cancellation and refund process was smooth.
