Draped in history and influences from across the world, this tour takes you deeper into Tainan's heritage, history and industry. Visit the Eternal Golden Castle, a fortification against the Japanese completed in 1876 in the western style and restored to its original glory. See the beautiful and well-preserved Merchant house of Tait & Co., evidence of a thriving foreign trade before the Japanese occupation, and the Tree House (an old warehouse) behind. Taste Tainan's famed snacks (reputedly the best in Taiwan) before heading to the huge Wushantou Reservoir, an area of immense beauty and historical significance.
Relax and enjoy a therapeutic experience at the Guangzeling Hot Spring, one of Taiwan's four main hot springs. Rather than the water springs seen in the rest of the country, Guangzeling Hot Spring is famous for its mud hot spring, a rare occurrence. Rich in minerals, the mud will leave your skin looking radiant and smooth. You will also visit Wusanto Reservoir, famed for its azure blue waters and the cherry blossom, where you can take a walk around and view over a hundred small islets that are dotted all over the reservoir.
