    Times Square - New York
Perhaps you should have been exploring New York right now or maybe it’s on your up-coming travel plans which as we are all aware, are a little up in the air right now (excuse the pun). What if we told you that there is a way to visit New York without stepping out your front door? #TravelFromHome and experience one of the world’s most exciting and eclectic capitals. Just because we can't jump on a flight, doesn’t mean that we can’t still travel, right?

    New York, New York!

The world’s most loved concrete jungle otherwise known as the ‘Big Apple’ is rife with majestic buildings to climb to the top off, bright lights to guide the way and delicious food to tuck into - but where to start?!

Wake up in a city that doesn't sleep

Start your day the right way and get stuck into a New York style bagel (they are simply the best). Chewy outside, tender inside with a slathering of cream cheese and maybe even some smoked salmon if you're feeling fancy. A better breakfast can’t be had.

Dive head first into a book

For an unforgettable snapshot of the lives of true New Yorkers and what it’s really like to live in this vibrant city, pick up a copy of ‘The Long-Winded Lady’ written by Maeve Brennan who wrote for the famous magazine, The New Yorker, during the 50s and 60s. Brennan observes the city and its ordinary people on the streets of the Village and Times Square, from the people sat at tables in bars and restaurants to the lobbies of budget hotels.

    Fall in love through film

You don’t have to be a film buff to have seen at least a dozen films or TV shows that are filmed on the streets of New York. From King Kong’s spire to Katz’s Deli where you can order the world-famous “I want what she’s having” -sandwich (When Harry Met Sally), New York really is a silver-screen superstar. Here are a few of our fave must-sees:
    Taxi Driver
    Manhattan-Film
    Ghostbusters-film
    Girls-tv-show

    Tune in, and zone out

From “the city that never sleeps” to “a concrete jungle where dreams are made of”, nothing sums up New York like its namesake songs.
