    The park opens at 10am on the days it’s open, which are;
    • 23rd March to 4th November - Monday to Sunday
    • 5th November to 7th January - Weekdays and select other days
    • 7th January to 22nd March - Park is closed
    Ferrari World
    Hours vary with the season;
    • 23/03-22/06; 11/09-04/11; 06/12 and 07/12; 24/12-06/01 - Open from 10:30 - 17:00 every day
    • 23/06-10/09 - Open from 10:30 - 20:00 every day
    • 10/11-23/12 - Open from 10:30 - 17:00 Saturdays and Sundays only
    Caribe Aquatic
    Open Monday-Sunday 10:30 - 19:00
    The Aquatic park remains closed in winter, so be sure to check the website for opening dates.

    Getting there
    PortAventura World is only an hour away from Barcelona, meaning you can tie in your cultural city break with fun thrills at this amazing theme park complex!

    By car
    Access PortAventura World from the A-7 dual carriageway.
    By train
    One of the most convenient ways to get to the parks, the resort has a stop in PortAventura world on the R-16 line, run by Rodalies de Catalunya - you can buy tickets through their website or at any of their stations in Catalonia.
    By bus
    There are a number of bus options available for travel to PortAventura world from Barcelona or anywhere in Costa Dorada.
    The three parks
    PortAventura World actually includes three individual theme parks, each with their own features and attractions! Found near Salou on the Costa Dorada (gold coast - so named because of its gorgeous golden sandy beaches) of Spain, it’s the biggest resort in the south of Europe.

    With 3.5million visitors a year, PortAventura is the most visited theme park in Spain, and the sixth most visited in Europe.
    This park includes five different areas which are themed around different civilizations (Mediterrània, Far West, México, China and Polynesia), plus an additional area based on Sesame Street. There are a total of 45 rides and attractions here, plus loads of shops, restaurants, and themed events going on throughout the year!
    Caribe Aquatica PortAventura Park

    The water park of PortAventura World, Caribe Aquatic, is Caribbean-themed and includes 16 slides and attractions, all set within a huge area of shops and restaurants to a backdrop of beaches, palm trees, and Latin and reggae music.

    Ferrari World
    The resort’s second theme park was added in 2017, and includes its own rides, a new hotel, shops, and car racing simulators. Ferrari Land pays homage to Italy, not just through its link with the premium sports car brand, but also through its inspiration in the design of the park - including recreations of Venice’s Piazza San Marco and Rome’s Colosseum. 
    This is the only Ferrari-themed park in Europe - you’d have to go all the way to Dubai to find the other one!
