Klook, a world leading travel activities and services booking platform is supporting the UK government with its Enjoy Summer Safely campaign to help promote and support local tourism in Great Britain. The campaign encourages people to safely enjoy the attractions and activities that have reopened across the country and have put in extra health and safety measures in line with the COVID-19 guidelines.
Klook has worked closely with their merchants and partners to ensure that all of their products are adhering to the new health and safety guidelines. With the focus on staycations, Klook are encouraging their customers to rediscover the UK and to book things to do on their doorstep. The company is also adding to their wide range of activities by onboarding more local travel experiences.
In addition to adhering to the ‘Good to Go’ scheme, led by Visit Britain, Klook have also rolled out additional checks and safety measures into other verticals such as transportation. This ensures that all of the products and services offered, alongside the attractions and tours, are following the health and safety measurements which have been put in place by the government.
Simon Llanos, European Director for Klook, said “I’m really pleased Klook are working in partnership with the government and supporting their campaign which encourages people to enjoy their summer, in a safe and responsible way. We have all been missing lots of things these past few months and it is great to see so many of our merchants putting in extra measures and reopening their doors to the public. Here at Klook, we want to show to our customers that their health and safety will always be the most important thing and by working with the government’s campaign this really supports that message. Now things are starting to return to a ‘new normal’, our customers can get back out there and start doing the things they love again”.
