Your Guide for the Safest and Easiest Way
After 1,024,385,349 days of being ‘locked down’ in the same building, lots of us are starting to get more comfortable with the idea of heading out and about as we try and reclaim what’s left of our summer.
And one thing we’re all feeling is the need to make the most of the summer sun, so we’re here to let you know how to do that when you make your way to the UK’s most thrilling theme park...Thorpe Park!
So first things first, you’re probably asking yourself whether Thorpe Park is open (it most certainly is!) and whether it’s safe to be open. The good news is you’re asking all the right kinds of questions, and the better news is that they’ve unveiled a whole raft of safety measures to make sure your park experience is as safe as it is fun.
Obviously, the main point to make here is that you should only do as much as you feel comfortable and safe to do. And if you’re showing any symptoms, it’s best for you and everyone involved to just stay home and seek medical advice.
But if you are feeling fine and ready to get out and explore, you’ll want to make as much of the day as possible and a key part of that is making sure you’ve got your transport sorted before you start making your way.
Luckily with Klook, you can get yourself a private transfer that’ll pick you up straight from your door at home or your hotel, and drop you off right at the entrance for Thorpe Park, totally hassle free!
There’s even the option of booking a car or a minivan depending on the size of your group. Perfect to keep the gang together, and there’s no need to worry about train delays, navigating the shuttle bus timetable or missing the bus altogether.

And we get that it’s your day and you might want to be flexible to have the option of heading somewhere between the park and home, and if that’s the case, you can always choose to book a one-way transfer rather than a return transfer.
But if you do decide to book a return transfer, your car will be waiting for you when you're finished at the park, so after a long day of going on every ride, you can sit back and relax.
And when you compare it to the train or the bus, it’s so much quicker, not to mention much better value, and it’s also a much more controlled environment too, so hopefully that helps reassure you.
As ever, you can check out more about the safety measures put in place by many of our partners on our blog, and if you want to ask us a question directly, just drop us a note on Facebook or Instagram and we’ll get back to you quicker than it takes to ride The Swarm! (...well OK, The Swarm actually goes at 80mph, so maybe not that quick but y’know, we’ll still be pretty speedy!) 🏁 🎢 💨
