Whether you’ve been craving the incredible cuisine, missing the vibrant nightlife, or been wanting to explore the classic tourist spots, this is the best time to visit, so we recommend planning your itinerary early on!

    Hong Kong Travel Requirements

Before you start purchasing tickets to attractions though, take note of Hong Kong’s travel requirements and restrictions before your arrival and once you land:

Prior to departure to Hong Kong

    • Negative Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) conducted within 24 hours OR
    • Negative PCR-based Nucleic Acid Test conducted within 48 hours
    • Keep the photo of the negative test result for 90 days
    • Declare the test result via the Electronic Health Declaration Form

    After arrival in Hong Kong

    • Must pass temperature checks upon arrival
    • The government recommends daily RATs using self-arranged RAT kits during the period between day of arrival (Day 0) and Day 5 after arrival in Hong Kong
    • Report RAT results and health status through the Electronic COVID-19 Monitoring & Surveillance System (eCMSS)
These requirements may change at any time, so it’s important to check Hong Kong’s travel requirements before your flight. When you’ve got everything in check, it’s time to start planning your itinerary!
