With International Women’s Day around the corner, we thought it would be great to round up our favourite, inspiring women who are rocking the world of travel. From ultimate adventurers to kick-ass business women, these are just some of the women who inspire us to push ourselves and step out of our comfort zone and to keep exploring.

    Laura Dekker

Hats off to anyone who takes on the challenge of single-handedly sailing around the world, but to do it at the age of 14 is a whole new level of amazing. With just cockroaches for company, Dekker took on the world, stepped out of her comfort zone and showed the world what you can achieve if you set your mind to it. If that doesn’t inspire you, then we don’t know what will!

    Cheryl Strayed

Life is full of hurdles, but for one woman she decided to not let them get her down. With her recent divorce and the sudden loss of her mother, Cheryl Strayed took to the great outdoors to help herself feel happy again. Her 1,000 mile journey along the Pacific Crest Trail in California is a story of survival, pushing yourself to your limits and then coming out the other side, something we all need to do a little more of.

    Cassie De Pecol

We’ve all dreamt of travelling around the world to see new sights, meet new people, uncover new cultures. For Cassie De Pecol, she made this dream a reality at the age of 27 making herself the first woman on record to travel to every country in the world 💪. If you’re looking for some inspiration to get out there and travel more, she’s your woman. Credit: Cassie De Pecol via Instagram

    Rose Macario

Probably one of the most inspirational women within the travel industry is Rose Macario, CEO of outdoor clothing brand, Patagonia. Setting the bar for sustainability initiatives within the fashion industry and making waves at The White House, Macario has turned Patagonia into more than just a clothing brand, it’s a way of life. It’s ethos and brand values are definitely something we can all get on board with, especially for those that want to help protect the planet 🌍 Credit: Patagonia

    Selah Shneiter

Selah is proof that you’re never too early for an adventure. At the ripe old age of 10 she joined her dad on a journey to epic heights in Yosemite National Park, California. Selah was the youngest person to scale El Capitan in California’s most-loved national park. Just to give you an idea of how epic this feat is (for anyone), El Capitan is a vertical granite cliff standing at 3,000ft 🤯 Credit: @polarsport via Instagram If these stories of amazing women have you inspired to try something new or challenge yourself, take a look at our incredible experience all over the world.
