Booking guidelines

  • The SIM card is valid for your selected duration on a daily basis. If you activate your SIM at 23:59, it will count as one day
  • This is a Data-only SIM card. Calls, texts, or topping up additional credits will not be possible
  • The connection speed depends on your phone reception and the local network coverage. There is no guarantee for coverage or speed quality, and connection will be weaker in areas outside of the main cities
  • Please note: data is set to activate on your indicated departure date. Please make sure the date is correct and message supplier in case of date change
  • Before booking, please ensure your mobile device supports the usage of eSIMs. You can find a list of compatible devices here
  • Dial “*#06#” on your mobile phone. If the EID barcode appears, it means your mobile phone supports the eSIM function. You can refer here
  • The eSIM will be sent to your email within 30 minutes. After purchasing, please look for an email from tell@xplori.world to redeem your eSIM QR code.

Usage reminder

  • Under the Fair Usage Policy, data speed and usage may be limited for users who process large amounts of data in a short period of time. This is at the discretion of the subscribed telecommunications company and may occur without prior notice
  • Please refrain from extensive video streaming and/or processing a huge amount of data in a short time

Activation procedure

  • The eSIM should be activated within 30 days after redeeming the QR code. It is recommended to activate your eSIM on day of departure (can be done in your country) to avoid causing unintended early start of data usage
  • The eSIM is valid for the selected number of days after activation, calculated on a daily basis. For example, if you purchase a 3-day eSIM and activate it at either 08AM or 10PM on October 1, it will remain valid until October 3 at 23:59 (timezone is GMT+8)
  • Scan the QR code and activate it automatically. No registration is required
  • Internet connection is required to install the eSIM (using either Cellular or WiFi)

  • Do not delete the eSIM. QR code can often only be scanned and activated only once. After scanning, eSIM cannot be transferred to another device.

Cancellation policy

  • No cancellations, refunds, or changes can be made
  • Refunds can be offered in case of technical issues, but you need to contact supplier when the issue occurs
  • Admin charge applies in case your device does not support eSim

I strongly recommend eSim due to its seamless data usage and extremely fast internet. Despite my heavy usage during the trip, I couldn't consume the 40GB over my 6 days and 5 nights in China.

Nice working in china if u want to use browser than download DIDI App for Taxi and Baidu for internet browsing

It is very helpful. This is my first time using an eSIM so I made a mistake and scanned the QR on my eSIM before I left. I was worried, but right after when I landed, I got the 4G very quickly. I can also access all my apps including Facebook and Instagram.

The connection is quite good but not as fast as expected. There is no application to manage remaining capacity. If you don't need to watch too much video, it's quite ok, no need for VPN
