What to expect
In the heart of Seoul, there are many popular hiking courses up some of the most beautiful mountains.
Mt. Inwang is located near Gwanghwamun and Gyeongbokgung, in the heart of Seoul. This mountain is frequently visited by both Koreans and foreigners alike, especially for its breathtaking view and easy hike.
The meet up location is Gyeongbokgung Station (Line 3), and the trip up the mountain takes about one hour. The course is easy and enjoyable for both adults and children alike. Mt. Inwang is also a part of the Hanyang Castle Walls, so you will be able to catch a glimpse of Korea's historic walls as you walk along. At the summit, you will be able to enjoy a rare view of Gyeongbokgung Palace, Cheong Wa Dae (Blue House), Gwanghwamun Square, and Namsan Tower.
