Signature Highlights - A Celebration of Wagyu and Foie Gras
Harbour Restaurant’s culinary team has specially curated a selection of signature dishes centred on wagyu and foie gras, bringing out the distinctive richness, aroma and texture of these premium ingredients through different culinary interpretations.
- Chilled Lobster: Served unlimited throughout dinner, the chilled lobster is prized for its naturally sweet flavour and firm, succulent texture. Light and refreshing on the palate, it makes an elegant beginning to the evening’s feast.
- Pan-seared Foie Gras with Balsamic Reduction on Toast: Pan-seared until delicately golden on the outside and lusciously smooth within, the foie gras offers a rich and buttery mouthfeel. Paired with balsamic reduction and crisp toast, the dish achieves a fine balance of richness and acidity with pleasing textural contrast.
- Stir-fried Wagyu Beef Cubes with Foie Gras and Black Truffle: Tender wagyu beef cubes are stir-fried with foie gras and finished with the alluring aroma of black truffle. The combination brings together the deep flavour of wagyu, the creamy richness of foie gras and the refined earthiness of truffle in a harmonious and luxurious dish.
- Baked Oyster with Foie Gras Terrine and Cheese: Fresh oyster is paired with foie gras terrine and cheese, then baked to bring out layers of savoury richness. The briny sweetness of the oyster is beautifully complemented by the smooth, full bodied character of foie gras.
- Wagyu Beef Croquette: Golden and crisp on the outside, this delightful croquette reveals a soft and flavourful filling of mashed potato and wagyu beef within. It is a comforting yet refined bite with a gently lingering beef aroma.
- Grilled Wagyu Chuck Steak: Freshly grilled at the teppanyaki station, the wagyu chuck steak is tender and juicy with a well-rounded beef flavour. Its balanced marbling enhances the richness of the meat while preserving a refined texture on the palate.
Other Signature Dishes
Additional themed delicacies include Baked Seafood and Foie Gras Stuffed Crab Shell, a richly satisfying creation that brings together the sweetness of seafood and the velvety richness of foie gras; Hungarian-style Braised Wagyu Ox Tongue, slow-braised to tenderness and layered with deep, savoury flavours; and Braised Wagyu Oxtail in Red Wine Sauce, offering a succulent texture and a rounded, aromatic finish with elegant depth.
A Lavish Spread of Seafood, Teppanyaki and International Favourites Beyond its themed wagyu and foie gras creations, the dinner buffet also features an abundant selection of chilled seafood, including unlimited chilled lobster, freshly shucked oysters, Canadian snow crab clusters, shrimp, blue mussels, clams and whelks. The place is nice and clean . Ambience is good too. . I like the variety of salads they have, few choices of sea foods , They have Chinese food area dim sum, steam fish . Huge area for desserts different kind of cakes ,they even have sweet Tofu . But few choices for fresh fruits. Food was good enough to fill your tummy 😊. it was my friend's bday so they have a birthday cake for her . The staffs are good and service is good. Really worth for the price.
The staff were polite and provided excellent service. They were helpful when it rained, and the restrooms were clean and tidy. Dishes were cleared quickly. The speed of food replenishment could be improved. We arrived at 6:10 PM and were able to be seated early, as our table was already prepared. Dinner started at 6:30 PM. There was a good selection of cold seafood, including crab legs, crayfish, mussels, and clams, as well as shrimp. The oysters were of normal quality, and there were five or six types of sashimi. The venue isn't particularly large, but it's perfectly fine for a casual meal with family. At around $300 with a discount, the price is reasonable. Of course, it doesn't offer the widest variety of dishes, but it does have two brands of ice cream, unlimited bottled sodas, stewed soup, and steamed seafood.
Our group of eight had a family gathering, and everyone unanimously expressed their delight with the buffet experience. Regarding the food, there were salads, seafood such as freshly sliced sashimi, freshly shucked oysters (that night they were American oysters, with a sea flavor but not too salty, creamy and fresh), snow crab legs, shrimp, meat crab, and mussels. Hot dishes included BBQ lamb chops (the flavor was a bit bland and not fragrant enough, 2 pieces were undercooked and couldn't be cut), foie gras toast, Peking duck, Portuguese suckling pig rice, Spanish Iberian pork belly char siu (very sweet and juicy). Hot dishes also included Thai red curry duck, slow-cooked beef cheek (it felt very soft when picked up), scallion-cooked halibut, grilled pork jowl, bandit chicken wings, sauerkraut fish, pig's feet in ginger (rich in flavor and very smooth, I haven't had such a delicious one in a long time, no wonder there is a price for takeout) The soup of the day was coconut stewed chicken, full of coconut aroma and sweetness, and the stew also contained ingredients such as white fungus and red dates. The theme that night was Coca-Cola, and several foods/desserts also had Coca-Cola elements. Self-service soft drinks, coffee/tea were also provided. Desserts included about 6 types of cakes and mousse, as well as Hong Kong-style egg waffles, fried dough twists, mini Portuguese tarts, tofu pudding, herbal tea, freshly made pancakes and a wide variety of Movenpick and Haagen-Dazs ice cream, which was really satisfying. The service was also highly appreciated by everyone. Every service colleague in different positions and the chefs in the cooking stations were full of smiles and very kind, and the dishes on the table were cleared immediately after being eaten. They were also very proactive in helping us take pictures, and when they found out that we were celebrating a birthday that night, they also sent a small birthday cake, which was really considerate and heartwarming. The seats are not very dense, allowing for good conversations. The cleanliness of the restroom is also commendable. At this price, we all felt it was great value for money and a very happy and satisfying buffet.

The Bayview Hotel buffet has oysters, snow crab legs, jade snails, mussels, sashimi, sushi... The hotel restaurant environment is relatively comfortable, the staff are relatively friendly, the service attitude is very good, and there are many kinds of cooked food, such as smoked duck, roasted ribs, steamed egg custard, stewed soup... These cooked foods taste delicious, not too salty, very good... Desserts include tofu pudding, Chinese sweet soup desserts, cakes, ice cream... The buffet drinks are okay, the only thing missing is smoked salmon, which is a little disappointing. Overall, I am very satisfied with the buffet dinner, the taste is perfect for us. A friend recommended this hotel's buffet dinner, saying it was worth eating, so I booked this buffet on Klook. In the end, I was very satisfied overall. The price is not too expensive, it's quite reasonable, the service attitude is okay, and in the end, it's worth recommending for a family gathering at this buffet.
There's a wide variety of food, including fresh oysters, seafood sashimi, grilled lamb chops, roasted foie gras, and more. The staff are friendly, and they offer a complimentary small cake for birthdays.
We arrived at 6:10 and were able to be seated early. Our table was already set up, and dinner started at 6:30. There was a good selection of cold seafood, including crab legs, crawfish, mussels, clams, and shrimp. The oysters were of normal quality, and there were about five or six types of sashimi. The venue isn't particularly large, but it's perfectly fine for a casual family meal. At around $300 with the discount, the price is reasonable. The buffet dinner has a good selection of food, such as cold seafood platters... snow crab legs and other seafood that aren't too salty, hot food 🍲 includes stewed soup, braised goose with bamboo fungus, sashimi, sushi... salad, lamb chops, foie gras, noodle soup, a self-service drink area, Chinese soups, etc... Overall the food quality is decent, and the price is reasonable. The restaurant environment is quite comfortable, and the service attitude is excellent. I prefer the hot food, the taste 👅 is delicious 😋.
Booked the buffet lunch. The food selection was okay, nothing particularly surprising. They didn't have roast beef that day, but the salmon sashimi was quite fresh. The hot dishes were limited but tasted good. The chilled section had shrimp, mussels, and clams. Other desserts like sweet soup, cakes, and hot/cold coffee were all standard. The only downside I want to point out is the pan-fried rice noodle rolls at the cooking station. Although it's not a high-quality ingredient, I personally like all kinds of rice noodle rolls, but these were terrible. The presentation wasn't great, and the problem was the texture - it was pasty and floury instead of being soft, smooth, and chewy. The hotel should pay more attention to improving this, as it affects the perception of the other food. The ambiance was pretty good. I felt the spacing between seats was wide enough, so it didn't feel cramped and was quite comfortable. Getting the buffet lunch at a discount price is a pretty relaxing and good choice.
The location is convenient and easy to access, the service is attentive, and the restaurant environment is generally good. The food quality is also satisfactory, especially the braised duck feet, steamed soup, desserts, and large shrimp. However, the snow crab legs were a bit thin with less meat. The tofu pudding was smooth. Overall, it was a comfortable experience and definitely worth revisiting. The price is reasonable and I highly recommend it.
