Mont Saint Michel Day Tour with Transport

The meeting point was easy to find. The double-decker bus for transportation operates on a first-come, first-served seating basis, so it's recommended to arrive early! The upper deck is more popular, but the four-person seats on the lower deck (with tables) are a hidden gem! We stopped at a service area once for a break before heading to our destination. I highly recommend this bus tour because I felt very safe and was able to sleep soundly on both the outbound and return journeys! The guide explained so many things, but I couldn't understand what he was saying at all because I don't speak English. He talked non-stop the entire time. At the destination, we took the bus there and walked back (you can choose). We stayed for about three hours, and it was incredibly fulfilling! It's recommended to act quickly for the return bus as there's a long line. We had one more restroom break on the way back and returned to Paris after 9 PM.

excellent and very helpful and very friendly guide was she gave us a great briefing and told us lots of history. the bus had a very comfortable ride but there are lots of steps so get prepared you will get tired but the view is worth it

Lovely experience getting to visit such an iconic location in France. Our tour guide was great, very communicative, and shared a lot of interesting information throughout the trip. Highly recommend! Just be mindful that the place can get very crowded.

Although I only bought a round trip ticket, I was able to travel with the tour guide and at least have a basic understanding of Mont Saint Michel. This includes how to allocate time for visiting and lunch, and also knowing the time and location of the shuttle bus. Mont Saint Michel is too far away from Paris, and one day is definitely not enough time to visit and appreciate the beauty of Mont Saint Michel brought by sunlight. I hope there will be round trip tickets for sale on different dates, so that it is convenient to arrange a two-day or three-day tour and stay in a hotel near the monastery.

The tour started on time at 7:15am and depart from Paris. It was a long ride to destination. We arrived at around 12:10pm. Then took shuttle bus. It was hot on our day of visit but the sky was clear which we took good photos. We had sufficient time(about 2.5 hours) to visit the abbey and island. We started to line up for the shuttle bus at around 3:30pm to go back to the car park. We left mont st michel at 4:30pm and arrived at Paris at around 9:30pm. it’s highly recommended as we don’t need to bother for the train and bus ticket and schedule if you want to take a day trip to mont st michel.

definitely enjoyed it! Good thing we had enough time to visit saint-michel and nearby areas, it was such a beautiful scenery. I’ll definitely come back. btw, be prepared to walk so much stairs! wear comfortable shoes.

I enjoyed the trip; there was enough time at Mont Saint-Michel. Sometimes I overlapped with Alexandra's guided tour, and she gave interesting commentary. The view of the island is breathtaking.

Meet at the hotel next to the Eiffel Tower and take a double-decker bus. The round trip is five hours each way, with a 30-minute rest stop each way. If you choose the transportation-only option, the tour guide will still provide some interesting facts on the bus, which is a big plus. You will arrive at a bus transfer station, where you will need to take a free shuttle bus to Mont Saint-Michel. The entire Mont itself is a small village with food, souvenirs, and more. The church at the top of the Mont is actually quite large and also has souvenirs, which I think are of better quality than the souvenirs at the bottom. Although the journey is long, Mont Saint-Michel is truly beautiful and I recommend visiting it.
