Hsinchu Chartered Car Day Tour: Emei Lake & Cheng隍 Temple & Green World (Departing from Taipei)

Our 10 hours trip to Hsinchu was very smooth. Eric was very professional, informative, funny and easy to communicate. He sent us detail information from what type of car, where to pick us up to the google map of our itinerary. He even asked if we are ok with it. We booked this trip because of we want to go to Tianen Maitreya Temple and Ermei lake. He took us there and even gave us information about what time the temple open, which part of temple open and where to eat. He also stopped somewhere for us to get a nice pictures. He never rush us and gave us plenty of times to explore. He knew how to navigate to find the best / fastest way to all our destinations safely. We had good memories in Hsinchu thanks to Eric. Highly recommended him and his company.

The driver contacted us in advance to make the process go smoothly and on time. He also gave local travel advice on allocating attraction times, attraction content details, etc. Our family was very satisfied with this one-day trip to Hsinchu. We experienced the Hakka characteristics of Beipu Old Street and the Green World Ecological Farm. It was worth it. Recommended!

Itinerary should be changed or updated. So far we only enjoyed the Emei Lake and glimpse of the Township Temple. The cultural village is not much to see and yhey just have souvenir store outside. It is not Persimon season so we didnt see many Persimon and only tried the processed ones in a small store there at the Farm. The driver took us to our last stop which is a Park but he said it is already closed to all people since there are not much tourists visiting anymore. I don’t recommend this trip, maybe the other one woth crab watching is better or make a DIY tour to Hsinchu and just take the HSR from Taipei, this is where we stayed.

On this charter, we customized our tour to Wulai, Beipu, etc. from Taipei. Although we were traveling far away, the driver was very polite and reassuring, and he was also very good at controlling his time.Even though he got stuck in traffic on the way home, he arrived at the hotel on time. The person in charge that day was a driver named Akira. He kindly responded to my wife's very detailed requests by interviewing people at nearby shops. He also fulfilled my wife's request to take a bath in a natural hot spring, which made her very happy.

The experience was very good. The driver was very nice and took us to the scenic spots. He also had sufficient knowledge about the scenic spots and was very kind. Although it was a rainy day, the driver actually prepared umbrellas for us, which was very considerate. In response to our request during the trip, he temporarily took us to Beipu to eat local Hakka dishes and taste Hsinchu's specialty foods. The only drawback is that it rains and some attractions cannot be fully appreciated. Some attractions are not open on Mondays. It is recommended to go on Saturday, Sunday or Tuesday to Thursday. If you have been to other well-known attractions in Taiwan, we recommend trying this route!

We chose to charter a car to Emei Lake. The driver, Tony, provided great service and even took photos for our family. Then, we went to Tamsui for a trip. The driver played nursery rhymes in the car to entertain the children, which was very thoughtful. We will charter a car next time, thank you driver🙏

The driver told me some historical things on the way, which was quite good. Although the car model is a bit different from what we imagined and it’s a bit cramped to sit in, overall it’s a good one-day charter experience in Hsinchu~ Recommended👍
