- Full ticket: General public (including those aged 23 and above)
- Concessionary tickets: Ages 7–22, 65 and over, Tainan citizens, and students studying in Tainan (valid ID required)

- Storage areas are available at the venue. Please contact staff on site for rates
- Please present your ID card, health insurance card, and other relevant documents for identity verification by on-site staff (students must also provide a student ID card).
- To maintain the quality of visits within the museum, eating and drinking, wearing slippers, and bringing pets (except guide dogs) are prohibited.
- Tickets are not applicable for Christmas weekend events; tickets will be sold separately for those events.
- During your visit, recording, video recording, live streaming, and the use of flash, selfie sticks, and tripods are prohibited.
- You can get a re-entry stamp at the exit. On the same day, you can re-enter the museum with this stamp and your ticket stub.
- If there are any changes to ticket prices or terms of use, the on-site announcement shall prevail.

- Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the venue

How to get there
- By bus: Take the TRA to Baoan Station, then transfer to bus Red 3, Red 3-1, or Red 4 at the Baoan Bus Transfer Station across the street. Get off at Chimei Museum Station, and walk for about 10 minutes from the museum's Wenxian Parking Lot to reach the museum entrance.
- Walking: After exiting from TRA Baoan Station, turn right and walk straight along Wenxian Road for about 350 meters. On your left, you will see the entrance to the museum's pedestrian walkway. Please follow the pedestrian walkway and the signs to the museum entrance. The total walking distance is approximately 25 minutes.
- The Red 3-1 Metropolitan Park Arts and Culture Bus operates only on holidays, passing through 5 locations including Baoan Station, Chimei Museum, Ten Drum Culture Park, Taisugar Carnival Shopping Center, and Tainan Airport. The operating hours are from 08:00 to 17:00, with one HSR shuttle every half hour.
- After arriving at Tainan HSR Station, transfer to the HSR Express Bus (H31 Tainan City Government Line) and alight at Chimei Museum Station. From the main entrance of the park, walk for about 15 minutes to reach the museum entrance.
- Tainan Airport: Take a bus (No. 5, Red 3, Red 3-1) to Chimei Museum

Booking tickets for the "Pharaoh: King of Egypt" British Museum special exhibition at the Chimei Museum in Tainan through Klook was incredibly convenient! We simply showed our voucher on-site for quick verification and entry, saving us time from waiting in line to buy tickets. The special exhibition was very rich in content and educational, allowing us to see ancient Egyptian artifacts from the British Museum's collection up close, which was a truly stunning experience. The permanent exhibitions were also excellent, with a well-planned flow, complete facilities, and friendly staff. Although the ticket price was a bit high, it was definitely worth it. It was a fantastic exhibition experience, and I highly recommend everyone come and enjoy it!

Stepping into the 'Kings of Egypt' special exhibition at the Chimei Museum is like opening a portal in Tainan to three thousand years ago. The most striking aspect is undoubtedly the close-up view of the exquisite mummy sarcophagi and golden masks, with metals and minerals still gleaming under the lights, reflecting an eternal ambition. Observing these pharaohs' burial artifacts reveals the ancient Egyptians' almost obsessive dedication to the 'afterlife,' yet it's breathtakingly beautiful. Although the exhibition hall has a solemn atmosphere, the thought of pharaohs traveling halfway across the globe to 'work' here inexplicably evokes a sense of cross-temporal familiarity. This isn't just an accumulation of artifacts; it's a visual feast of power, faith, and craftsmanship. We highly recommend bringing headphones to experience the ancient, mysterious breeze from the Nile, whispered through the guided tour.

Yesterday, I visited the long-awaited "Kings of Egypt" special exhibition at the Chimei Museum! Although I had purchased tickets online in advance, I hadn't reserved a time slot. So, upon arrival, I still had to take a number and wait patiently to be called before I could enter.
It was a bit of a shame that I didn't get to see the pyramids or mummies, and I spent extra time waiting in line. However, being able to witness precious Egyptian artifacts firsthand and experience the mysterious charm of ancient civilization still felt incredibly worthwhile. It was a very enriching and educational trip!

I came to visit from Hong Kong, and at first, I was worried it would be hard to find. We stayed at a hotel nearby, and the directions were very clear and easy to understand. The park amazed me; it was so pleasant and relaxing to walk around. My friend and I entered around 10 AM and made an on-site reservation. Even though it was a holiday and very crowded, it was quicker than I expected. The museum was packed, so if possible, I recommend visiting on a weekday. The permanent exhibition is also good and worth a visit 👍🏻. If I have the chance, I'll bring my family back again at the end of the year. The place is beautiful, and I really miss the braised tofu from the food stalls in the park!

Stunning Visuals and Spatial Experience:
Fist of the Colossal Statue of Ramesses II: Weighing 1.5 tons, this single fist alone gives a sense of the grandeur of the original statue (approximately 65 feet tall). To accommodate Taiwan's seismic activity, the museum specially reinforced the exhibition hall structure and steel base, making its weight incredibly impressive to see in person.
Seated Statue of Seti II: This is the main visual for the exhibition. The curator specifically recommends observing the statue's 'knees,' where the artisans' detailed depiction of bone and muscle remains remarkably clear and lifelike even after 3,000 years.
Temple Immersion Experience: The exhibition space uses light and shadow walls to depict the changing light in a temple from sunrise to sunset, accompanied by low-frequency sound waves, creating a powerful sense of ritual.
Exquisite Small Artifacts: In addition to the colossal stone sculptures, tiny gold amulets, rings, and intricate papyrus documents (such as fragments recording the Battle of Kadesh) also demonstrate the pinnacle of ancient Egyptian craftsmanship.

There were many exquisite exhibits from Egypt, each one stunning. The thematic design guided visitors through the cultural characteristics of Egypt, making it feel like walking through chapters of a story. Combined with the mobile audio guide service, the overall experience was excellent. However, the text on some exhibit labels was too small, and the lighting wasn't bright enough, making it quite difficult to read. You had to bend down and get very close to see clearly.
