What to expect
The first exhibition to be presented by Kaohsiung Music Center, "POP! POP! POP! An Interactive Journey" provides a compressive perspective on the history of pop music in Taiwan, while also incorporating elements of public curation, giving visitors a chance to voice their thoughts on what pop music is.
The “Sounds of the South” section of the exhibit focuses on the musical and cultural lineage of Taiwan’s southern region. Aside from including keywords in interactive sound installations representative of southern Taiwan as chosen by visitors, this area also provides an in-depth look at the culturally significant individuals and incidents in Kaohsiung’s music history. - Regular Ticket TWD 199:
- Student & Group Ticket: TWD 149: • Students with a valid Taiwanese student ID • Groups of 20+ people
- Concession Ticket TWD 99: • Residents of Yancheng and Lingya District (please present a relevant ID) • Seniors aged 65+ (please present a relevant ID)
- Free admission: • Children aged below 6 or with a height below 115cm (each child must be accompanied by a paying adult) • Disabilities with certificates and one companion (must enter at the same time)
- Ticket office closed 1 hour before closing

Visiting Notices
- Loud noises, playing, eating, smoking, throwing away paper scraps, and sundries, those behaviors are forbidden in the exhibition area.
- No drinks or food.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Flashlights, selfie sticks, and tripods are not allowed.
- If there is any photography, or filming in commercial use, please make an application to KMC beforehand.
- If there are flooded with customers, crowd control will be carried out, please line up and follow the instructions from the on-site staff to enter the venue.
- For any not covered precautions, the organizer reserves the right to add, cancel, change, or explain; please refer to the Kaohsiung Music Center Facebook page, Instagram, official website, and on-site announcements.
- This event is open to the KMC members to accumulate credits, the credits can be stored at the information desk on the first floor of WaveTower.
