Shoushan Zoo in Kaohsiung City is the largest public zoo in southern Taiwan, providing multiple functions and services such as family leisure, outdoor education, ecological science education, and tourism for the Greater Kaohsiung area, as well as the broader central, southern, and eastern regions of Taiwan.

- Visitor Services I. Information Station: Park tour information II. Service Center: Paging and Lost & Found services, Nursing services, Taxi Hailing III. Stroller and Wheelchair Rental: Strollers are limited to children under 18 kg, free of charge, a document or deposit of NT$1,000 is required. IV. Nursing Room: Equipped with 3 safe and private nursing spaces, all providing sockets, diaper changing stations, hot water supply, refrigerator for storing breast milk, sink, and trash can.
Park Services
- Group Guided Tour Service Groups of 20 or more are welcome to apply two weeks before the visit. The park will arrange and confirm before notifying you of the reply. Tour duration: Approximately 1.5~2 hours Application method: Telephone inquiry, please call 07-5215187 extension 539 for consultation and reservation. Application result: Please call 3-7 days before your visit to confirm whether a tour guide is available.
- If the group is unable to visit the park as scheduled, please contact the park 3-7 days before the original visit date to reschedule or cancel.
- Water Plaza The Water Plaza is temporarily closed in line with the water conservation policy.
- ZOO ZOO BUS Tour Bus The adorable ZOO ZOO BUS will take you around the Shoushan Zoo. Business hours: First departure time 09:20, last departure time 16:20. Closed every Monday and Chinese New Year’s Eve. If Monday falls on a national holiday, it will be open as usual. The tour bus takes about 15 minutes per trip. On weekdays, the bus departs when full. On holidays, the bus runs every 20 minutes. Free for children under 2 years old or infants in arms. Children under 120 cm must be accompanied by an adult.
- Children’s Ranch Feeding Experience Animal feeding experience opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday 10:00, 14:00. Forage grass is distributed on-site, while supplies last. The forage grass received on-site is only for feeding the Boer goats in the Children’s Ranch. Please follow the guidance of on-site personnel and related regulations.
