Reviews
Although the park is not super big, I like every point 💕 We went there on a Friday and there were not many tourists. It was cool to listen to the story and characteristics of each animal slowly and slowly everywhere. If you like to interact with animals in person, you can also pay extra to enjoy your wonderful time. In the park, there are kangaroos of different sizes everywhere waiting for tourists to feed them. Buying a bag can feed them for a long time. Little penguins🐧, koalas🐨, tigers and other large and small animals can be checked in and photographed one by one according to their own plans🤳. I went with my 12-year-old niece, and she had more fun than me😃. It is estimated that it will take 2-3 hours to play enough.
Great place to visit with family and kids. Good stop before sovereign hill. The size of the wildlife park was just nice, plenty of animal variety, animal interactive attraction, etc. Kangaroos were a bit too full to be fed, we didn’t even finish half pack of food we bought for them.
We spent half a day here.. loved our experience here. We fed kangaroos, they were all friendly and cute although some are fighting each other😂😂 also saw penguins swimming, koalas in groups. Overall nice experience
This wildlife park is close to Melbourne. It is an excellent experience to take your children to the park. You can see koalas, wombats, and superb crocodiles.
This is a very animal-friendly zoo. The kangaroos, emus, and alpacas are not kept in enclosures, and the enclosures that do exist are designed to mimic the animals' natural habitats as much as possible, so the animals seem quite happy. The kangaroos here like to lie down to sleep, even when they're eating. They tend to be more active and will beg for food when the zoo opens, even putting their paws on your hands. It's recommended to book the animal experiences first thing in the morning, as the number of participants is very limited and they fill up quickly. A photo is included in the experience and will be emailed to you later. During the experience, you can mostly only touch their backs. Some animal experiences aren't listed, so it's best to ask the staff for more information.
It’s our 3rd Visit to Ballarat Wildlife Park and it’s always a fun filled day. Amazing Animal Presentation with very insightful info. would recommend to visit.
First time to experienced the Kangaroo feeding and seeing cute Koalas! It was the best experience! I enjoyed my time at Ballarat Wildlife ParkI wish I can come back again! 🥰
The park wasn’t too big but it was alright. Wouldn’t recommend buying the kangaroo feed as you’ll have lots leftover. Overall it was a good time, spent about 2 hours here as two adults but could potentially spend longer if with children.
The first time for my family and we enjoyed the friendly staff and so happy to see the animals so closed!
Great place. Saw a lot of animals. You can feed and pet them. Easy exchange of voucher for a ticket at the box office.
