Highly recommended. The staff were super nice and helpful. I took my 76 year old mom with me. They were very nice to help her on board and offf board from the ferry. It was a nice and pleasant experience to see some of nicest beaches which was very relaxing.
We had a wonderful day. Guides were informative, easy to understand and the tour went smoothly. there was plenty of drinks and the lunch was great. highly recommend.
it was alot of fun! food was good and the viewpoints were amazing! so cool that you got to do so much in one day! unlimited water was really nice as well
We loved this trip. Our guides were really informative and very professional. we felt safe and looked after all day. We also liked the choices to do the hikes or to stay on the beach. Have to say that the food offered on the trip was also great - which I often find lacking on other trips. All in all, a great experience. Well organised and lots of fun.
we had a great time at the day trip to angthong marine park, beautiful views, snorkeling and kayaking, it was good
This tour is really nice, it is a combination of beach and nature. The guides speak English and are very friendly. Unfortunately I was not lucky with the weather, as it started to rain in the afternoon, but this is nobody's fault. After about 1 hour journey by speed boat, the first stop is snorkeling. I am sure there are some nice corals and fish to see, but we had very poor visibility due to bad weather so I could only see maybe 10 fish and 10 corals in total. The second stop was kayaking, about 30 minutes with a beautiful background of limestone mountains. After that we had lunch at the beach and the food was really good! In the afternoon we went to the viewpoints. The view from the top was amazing, but you need to be in good shape to reach the top. I was glad I brought my sneakers along. My only complain for this tour is about the transfer. I should have been picked up between 8:00 and 8:15am but the minivan arrived at 9:00am after I contacted several times the tour operator, I am not sure whether they were just late or they forgot me. At the pier we had to wait another hour until the speed boat left, there was some coffee and some bananas we could eat. As we came back to the pier after the end of the tour it was very difficult to find the transportation back to the hotel, there were lots of minivans but the drivers didn't speak English and had no signs, they just talked to each other and ignored the tourists, which was quite frustrating. However, all in all this tour is very nice and I would recommend it
it’s very nice trip and good staff thy handle the situation and make us laugh and enjoy in this trip
I went to a small island with friends but had no idea what activities were available. That's when I remembered Klook had day trips! So I signed up, and from the hotel pick-up to the end of the tour, it was truly a fulfilling day!
Super fun and the highlight of our trip. Highly recommended this tour. We were picked up from our hotel without a problem with a mini bus. Breakfast had toast and fruit. Plenty of water given throughout the day. The high speed boat ride was very bumpy and fast. Cafeful if you get seasick easily, it was rough 45 min. But all the activities later made it worth it. First stop was snorkeling. Lots of little fish to see. Then a hike to the top on an island. Its certainly not easy but super worth it to see the sea and scattered islands from the top viewpoint. Then lunch, which was surprisingly good and filled with options. Really enjoyed the salad. After lunch was kayaking alongside the rocks. For a first time kayaker, it wasnt hard to do and the views were spectacular. Finally, it was another shorter hike to see the blue-green lagoon. Much easier than thr first one, but each step was heavily inclined. Tour guides were great, took care of us, and spoke English well. Overall. A fantastic tour
We booked a tour from Koh Phangan. The description said that they would pick up from the hotel/inn. When paying, you indicated the location of your apartment. After payment, we contacted us via what's app and said that the transfer is not included in our trip. They offered a taxi for 1200 baht + 4% upon payment. We decided to take our car to the Thong Sala pier. Otherwise everything is fine. At the meeting there was a small snack: bananas, tea/coffee, bread and jam. When registering at the pier, you will need passport numbers (only a number, apparently for insurance). We were lucky with the weather: it was a little cloudy, but we didn’t get sunburned. Ang Thong National Park offers a choice of kayaking or hiking. Our grappa was divided into 2 parts. We decided to swim with the children and were not disappointed. True, we were left without the famous photographs of the park from the observation deck. The choice is yours. Lunch was hearty and delicious. The range of food was not large, but there were no restrictions. We returned around 16.00. On the way back the sea was rough, but the captain did not slow down. In general: I am 100% satisfied with the walk, I definitely recommend it!!! PS the cost of this tour at the pier was 200 baht more expensive.
Good to know
After being picked up at your hotel you will meet the friendly staff of Lomlahk Khirin at Bang Rak Pier. Enjoy a light breakfast and get safety instructions and information about the trip. Start the day off with an exciting 45-minute speed boat ride to the breathtaking beauty of Angthong Marine Park.
Angthong translates as 'golden bowl', occupies almost 250 sq km and includes 50 sq km of surreal limestone islands and karst topography, which rise from the sea. All of the 42 islands are uninhabited and undeveloped except for one. This island, Koh Paluay, is inhabited by sea-gypsies who still earn a living from fishing. The Marine Park is famous for its natural beauty untouched by development.
Spend the day island-hopping through the archipelago, visiting the park's principal islands, and exploring their natural caves and stunning rock formations by kayak. On Koh Mae Ko, you can hike up to the top with a spectacular view over the emerald saltwater lake called Thale Nai which is connected with the sea through underwater caves. A trail that takes 20 minutes to walk leads from a nearby beach to the viewpoint over the lake.
At mid-day, enjoy a delicious Thai style buffet lunch at the beach of Woa Ta Lab, and spend the afternoon sunbathing or simply relaxing on the endless white sand beaches of the islands.
