As a solo traveller, this was a great way to experience Songkran for the first time, and see a couple other things that were included - a temple and a market for food. There were a couple friend groups and a small family in the tour group too, so this option is suitable for all. It was well organized and then host Chopin (sp?) was great. The supply you with a large water gun, not like the tiny ones in the promotional picture.
It's an activity worth experiencing. The tour guide's introduction is great. The flight schedule is just right. You can feel the festive atmosphere as soon as you get off the bus on Khao San Road. It's an itinerary worth placing an order for.
