Taroko Gorge Day Tour from Taipei by Train

Josephine was an amazing tour guide. She showed so much more than I expected on this tour. she definitely did a great job explain Taroko. Not to mentioned, Josephine is super friendly and she took really good care of her tour group. Taroko is a must visit place if you like nature of Taiwan. I would totally come back to Taroko next time and do more hiking.

My wife & I had a good visiting Taroko Gorge. We were in a group of 12 from various countries. From meeting point to taking the train & transfer everything was seamless. Josephine was our tour guide. A hualien native with 16 years experience & they call her queen of hualien. We got to visit most sight shakadang trail & Taroko gorge. The views were amazing especially to the gorge & river. We were lucky to have Josephine as our guide who was very knowledgeable & very good in arranging the.tour. We really enjoyed the tour.

The scenery in the gorge was absolutely stunning, and Josephine, our tour guide, was very pleasant and knowledgeable, which made it a great day.

I think having a different guide to assist us in taking the train to Hualien is ok. I suggest to add a detailed instruction on where the meet up point is since it's a bit to difficult to find. I agree with everyone that the jade/marble factory and the beach should be removed from the itinerary. We were a big group (around 30 I think) and sometimes it's hard to hear what the guide is saying while walking through the trail. Lunch is included in this tour and I think it's really good. You are also given 3 choices either pork, fish or vegetarian.

The whole trip was very friendly, with trains running to and from Taipei/Hualien. The price is slightly expensive. The tour guide is very familiar with Taroko, and the lunch is also good. The main attractions are covered.

End to end beautiful service from the tour guide. Josephine is a local and love to talk. They will pick you up from hotel & send you to train station. Please note to take train to Taroko if possible, because one of the highways is under renovations/ fixings from some recent damage. She explain the gorge in detailed and with many nice little jokes here and there. She explains in extra detailed too if you know some Mandarin. Josephine actually takes into account your personal request if you go in small group. I.e: We wanted to have freshly made mochi - she gets you to the right place to have it.

The organisation to get us on the train and being met at the other end worked well. Taroko Gorge National Park is spectacular and we were lucky to have good weather. The lunch provided was great.

This is the best tour that I had been. The place, the people and the food was really adventure, amazingly beautiful. I really appreciate Josephine for being so lively and helpful and caring. This is the best tour.

For all the tours, this is the best among the best! Josephine our tour guide was very nice, she was accomodating and very kind to us. She understand what we need and very patient. Taroko is the most amazing place I have been. I appreciate so much this place, the food, the aboriginals everything is unique and adventure truly
