- No skateboards or bicycles allowed (wheelchairs and strollers permitted).
- Running, jumping, playing, and deliberately shaking the railing, or any other dangerous behavior, are prohibited.
- Please be aware when entering the trail and suspension bridge: avoid gathering in one spot on the platform to prevent stress concentration and potential danger.
- The suspension bridge has a limit of 50 people at a time, and the waterfall viewing platform has a limit of 200 people. Climbing or entering the suspension bridge is strictly prohibited during non-operational hours.
- The Nantou County Government is not responsible for any injuries, fatalities, or property damage resulting from failure to comply with the aforementioned prohibited conduct regulations. The Nantou County Government reserves the right to seek compensation for any damage to public property.

How to get there
- By bus: There are 3 round trips daily. Departure times from Zhushan are 10:30, 12:40, and 17:30, arriving at the final stop, Shanpingding, from which it is approximately a 2 km walk to the Ruilong Waterfall Park. Return departure times from Shanpingding Station are 11:10, 13:20, and 18:10. For bus information, please contact Yuanlin Bus Zhushan Station at (049) 264-2005.
- By car: Take National Highway 3 (southbound) and exit at Zhushan Interchange / (northbound) and exit at Nanyun Interchange ▶ Provincial Highway 3 ▶ Route Tou 149 (Linnan Road) ▶ Route Tou 52 (Shanpingding) ▶ 4K mark. Navigation: Ruilong Waterfall or Ruilong Parking Lot

There is a parking lot available for a fee of $50. Buying tickets upon entry is convenient and more affordable. The waterfall is just a 10-minute walk away, passing through a butterfly area with a plethora of butterflies. After crossing a suspension bridge, the scenery from the bridge is incredibly beautiful. Turn the corner, and you can see the waterfall. It's a suitable and easy trip for the whole family.

Tickets at the door are 100 NTD, or 95 NTD if purchased through Klook. The trail is easy to walk, the overall environment is very clean, and the waterfall has abundant water flow. It's a great place to enjoy beautiful scenery and absorb negative ions!

The park isn't very big, but it's clean and well-maintained. The waterfall is beautiful, and the information signs have multilingual descriptions. It only takes about 1.5 hours to walk to the waterfall and back. I suggest developing more new trails within the park, otherwise there's not much to see. It's great that they accept electronic tickets!

The environment is well-maintained and very clean. The trails are easy to walk and suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. The restrooms even have family restrooms with small toilets, making it suitable for traveling with elders and young children. Most of the trails are man-made, with limited shade, so it's recommended to wear a hat. There's a water fountain near the restrooms by the waterfall at the end of the trail.

Klook tickets are $5 cheaper than on-site tickets. There's a parking lot, but it costs $50. Not crowded on weekdays, perfect for a stroll.

I like to buy coupons at klook, which is always cheaper than the on-site price. Although it is only 5 yuan cheaper, the little money adds up to a lot. There are also coupons available for purchase on site and invoices are issued. A parking fee of RMB 50 is required for car parking.

The park is not big, the weather is cool, and the trails are gentle. It should take an hour to go back and forth, about 2.6 kilometers. There is a suspension bridge and a waterfall, and there is plenty of water in autumn and winter.

Rui Long Waterfall, known as the most beautiful waterfall in Zhushan, was formerly called "Shikanhu Waterfall." Because of its location in the Shanpingding settlement, it is also known as "Shanpingding Waterfall." In the 1980s, the late President Chiang Ching-kuo visited and, seeing the magnificent waterfall with its torrents rushing down like a dragon soaring into the sky, named it "Rui Long Waterfall."
The waterfall is approximately 30 meters high, cascading like white silk in three tiers. When the water volume is high, it resembles a flying dragon soaring through the sky. The abundant water flow creates countless splashes, enveloping the surroundings in layers of mist. The 50-meter Rui Long Waterfall Viewing Platform lies above it, and the giant rocks scattered throughout the stream form a spectacular sight.
