Tulum & Coba Mayan Ruins with Cenote, Caves Exploration & Lunch

Our guide Rodrigo was well informed and enthusiastic. Jose is a really good driver. Swimming and exploring the cave after walking down the ruins was refreshing. I am not a very good swimmer so the cave guide dragged me, very helpful. The buffet food was also great. This is a highly recommended tour. And make sure to avail the hotel pick up if you are just 2 people. Taxi is expensive.

Visiting the archaeological site of Tulum, Cobá, and finishing with the indoor cenote where we could swim in the cave was incredible. It's truly an experience not to be missed. I also want to thank Kevin, our guide, who was super kind and very funny. I really enjoyed spending the day with him and the group. Thanks also to our driver José, who transported us all day. 💙🇲🇽

The trip was packed with experience and historic places. The Cenote Cave was definitely a one of kind experience. The bustling 5th St was a good was a nice surprise. I did not know that the tour comes with it.

I was told there was an additional "ruin tax," but since there's no such tax listed on the official websites for sites like the Tulum ruins, it felt like I was essentially paying for the ticket price plus a service fee. While the original tour price was low, which might explain it, I would have preferred a clear breakdown of costs rather than opaque charges. I booked a tour with hotel pickup, but because my accommodation was an Airbnb-like hotel, I was assigned the same hotel as the group tour for pickup. This made paying extra for hotel pickup pointless. Despite frequent WhatsApp messages, when I asked questions, I received explanations about Chichen Itza instead of Tulum, so the communication was often mismatched. At the Coba ruins, there wasn't enough time, and the tour was structured so that you couldn't see the main ruins without renting a tricycle taxi or a bicycle. A two-person tricycle taxi cost 180 pesos. Lunch was around 2 PM, and the buffet area was almost closing, with only papaya left for fruit, making it feel like leftovers. At the cenote, you could only bring waterproof items, so if you brought a GoPro or a waterproof pouch, you could take photos while swimming. There was no photographer available.

Comfortable and relaxing trip, thanks to guide Huam and the driver Darwin for the great day. Senotes and Tulum were incredible.

We (a family of 5 adults from Austria) booked a day trip to Tulum, Coba and a Cenote at the end of December 2025 via Klook, with Amigo tours as local tour operator. Everything was exactly as booked, only the pick-up in Cancún was about 10 minutes late. The two guides (Paul, Pastor) and the driver (Abram) were a great team and made this visit of three highlights on a single day an unforgettable event for us. This was our second trip with Klook/Amigo Tours, which we can recommend without restrictions.

Romino and herro provided one of the best tour I have ever had. Fantastic activities selection and time managment! Pefect balance for “talk time” and “play time”. Highly recommend , tour guide with passion!
