Reviews
its worth it. the guy pick me up at the hotel at 8:15 to go get the bus. its a trip in a small bus which is nice for me. the driver and tour guide doğan are also nice and helpful. i had such a wonderful time during the trip.
We joined the Uludağ Bursa tour and overall had a great experience! The places we visited were very nice, and the views—especially from the chair lift (only 500 TL)—were absolutely beautiful and worth it. Lunch was decent, nothing too fancy but fair for the price we paid. One thing to be careful about: the first stop at the Turkish delight shop. Please check the prices carefully because the price displayed and the price on the receipt can be different. Don’t get scammed there! Other than that, the tour was enjoyable, affordable, and we loved it. Definitely a nice way to explore Bursa and Uludağ.
late pick up more than two hours around 9:45 and small seats and around 30 people not 15 as it mentioned but great guide and so helpful and perfect in communication but who wants to try ski no time to it because the stop is around one hour !
The tour was amazing. Mount Uludag was very beautiful with full of snow. The tour guide was very helpful, assisting to not slide when walking the snow, offer to take photos and videos. He assisted well with the entire tour. The cons I can say is the tour taking us to different store to buy Turkish delights and goodies which are overpriced but I understand they are just helping each trying to make a living.
Went to Uludag from Istanbul, on The Bursa Guided Tour. It was the only guided tour we took and it was the most organised one. Its better to go to Bursa taking a guided tour as you get to see many places. I am so glad that I went with a tour as I would have missed many interesting places. Its very cold there so don't forget to pack your woollies. Moreover it rains practically everyday and the weather is chilly. Uludag is one of the highest mountains, almost 2500 feet. It is a Ski Resort.
Unfortunately, on the day of the tour, it rained all morning. The journey to Bursa was hampered by traffic jams around the Bosphorus Gate. Lunch was quite delicious, especially the lamb and chicken. At Uludağ Mountain Ski Resort, the cable car was apparently closed for safety reasons. Furthermore, our travel guide only gave us one hour, which was too short.
So far, overall is ok. It is better to hire private transportation or take the bus if you wish to go to Uludag, stay longer, and enjoy the snow for a longer time.
The trip was quite a chop chop kind. The guide Ertugrul is very friendly, helpful and accomodative. He shared good information and the driver we had were very skillfull too. This trip has a lot of driving in a steep hill as you go up and up to the mountain. i must admit i had PTSD with the road and the there is one moment the road wete too foggy! But both of them were calm and relax. This tour is value for money and i think you should not missed it.
Our tour guide, Mr. Emrah, did a great job. One of the stop is organic jam shop, must buy as it’s organic and premium quality. My favorite is the peanut butter.
